In this article, we examine the factors which illustrate China’s determination on solving UFO’s mystery. Chen Na (2010), a journalist at the Chinese Academy of Science (CAC) interviewed CAC’s researchers and says UFO studies has four purposes exploring potential extraterrestrial civilizations, exploring unknown natural phenomenon and laws, levelling up national defense and economic development and dispelling the public’s superstitions and misconceptions. Here, we examine and discuss these four purposes.

This article provides a classification of the potential “ex-musicology” that humans might not have found yet. This includes parochial music, exomusicology, astrobiological music and ontological studies. These names are established by me as I have found no musicological research on such subjects.

Animals and humans may not share similar pitch cognition. This means we share no biological commonalities. However, biological scientists discover detecting devices which can translate animal music to human music through a “biological process”. Likewise, this approach might apply to extraterrestrial habitants. This means as we are literally made of the same stardust, the way we analyse animals might work in some extraterrestrial habitants.

In addition, animals signals detected by some scientists revealed that animals music. This may help us to understand the implication behind animal music. Likewise, this might apply to extraterrestrial habitants. The conclusions of some experiments are vulnerable, so we wish to elaborate more in the future by working collectively with biologists and musicologists. All the classifications as discussed demand further discussion among the academic community.

The Online Columbia Encyclopedia (2018, no page given) suggested UFOs, known as 'flying saucers' or " flying discs " , typically fly across the sky and emit light. After a short or long duration, the UFOs vanish. The military term of viewing an unexplained flying object is called 'Unexplained Aerial Phenomenon' (UAP). The colour of the object appears to be silver and grey. Also, the UFO is said to be silent. It is usually described as a noiseless, vertical cylinder-shaped object in 'clouds' during the day time, or red and various colours at night. The UFO phenomenon occurred numerous times in ancient China. The observation of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) is documented in Chinese literary sources. The documents are well preserved and written. Most reports of flying spheres were written by Chinese imperial historians or important officials, who are well-known for their credibility and are unidentified after close scrutiny of all the evidence by the people who are capable of examining the object in that era, not to mention the tremendous time and efforts which the officials has spent investigating the incident and verifying the testimonies of the witnesses. The terminology adopted in the classical Chinese literature is accurate and rational. Most reports gave detailed descriptions about the UFOs' colour, size, shape and direction while some may not, not to mention the social conditions, the adoption of sophisticated technology and the description of incidents at that time, characteristic of the 21 st century UFOs' reports. The various reports were made in various dynasties of China. Although the identities of witnesses are unknown, there were tremendous numbers of the reports. If these objects were not UFOs, no convincing explanations can be given to justify the sighting of massive UFO sightings and massive " hallucination " in various provinces in China. According to a report which was conducted by the France National Centre for Space Studies (UFO Study & Information Group) and which analyse the cases from 2007 to 2016, a tremendous number of UFOs incidents can be explained by modern science. However, the remaining cannot be explained as they are out of range of science. (ibid.) A classification adapted from the sixfold classification of UFOs sighting by Dr. J. Allen Hynek, including the combination of the nocturnal lights and Daylight Discs, and excluding the Radar –Visual. In other words, the sightings will be mentioned in the aspects of 'Remote Viewings', the close encounter of the first, second, third and fourth kinds.
