This paper presents an initial exploration of methods used in researching experience. Using techniques developed in subjective well-being and ‘happiness studies. The author presents a discussion of the applicability of these and related methods for understanding and evaluating the effects on attitude and behaviour of attendance and/or participation in experiential
marketing events. The concept of ‘experience’ is initially discussed and set within the context of marketing events designed to create a specific type of experience for the attendee. The main tools for researching experiences over a time period are then overviewed with the focus on the ‘experience sampling method’ (ESM) (Cziksentmihalyi) and the ‘day reconstruction
method’ (DRM) (Kahneman et al). These methods are critiqued in terms of their usefulness and practicality as research tools in the study of the effectiveness of marketing events. The paper concludes that an adaptation of these methods has the potential to provide much needed reliable and generalisable data on the feelings and emotional reactions triggered by different elements of en event. An obstacle yet to be overcome is then using this data to predict attitudinal and behavioural change related to brand communication goals. However, studies in other areas have shown that emotional response can be a significant indicator of future behaviour suggesting that the potential is there.
The further development and trial of these methods will lead to better understanding of the audience/participant’s experience and therefore provide marketers with a tool to evaluate these experiences. As such tools become more widely applied an understanding of how to affect/manipulate the experience can be developed with implications for event design, the use
of events as marketing communication tools and for social marketing purposes.

L'opera analizza l'evoluzione della nuova governance economica europea ed internazionale che si è sviluppata a partire dalla crisi finanziaria mondiale del 2007. In special modo con la creazione del MES , l'Europa ha dato vita ad una doppia governance, una interna al diritto primario europeo ed una al di fuori di tali regole, che lascia intravedere la possibilità che l' UE stessa possa subire un pesante declassamento nel regolare e rappresentare i rapporti tra gli Stati membri, anche in caso di deflagrazione della zona euro. Invero, il conflitto giuridico-politico scatenatosi con i ricorsi rinviati dalla Corte Costituzionale tedesca alla Corte di Giustizia Europea, in merito all'utilizzo di strumenti non convenzionali da parte della BCE , riafferma, nei termini che vengono esposti, il primato del ruolo delle istituzioni europee. L'emergenza «Coronavirus» rafforza il dibattito-scontro sul ruolo della BCE , e quindi sul futuro dell' UE e dell'Eurozona .

A growing number of studies on psychological phenomena employ the Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) method for obtaining intensive longitudinal data in daily life. Whereas cyclic processes may underlie different psychological and physiological outcomes, the cyclic model that describes such processes is rarely used for tting EMA data. The aim of this paper is to introduce the cyclic model to researchers, and to demonstrate its use in an empirical data set. It is shown how the cyclic terms can be incorporated in multilevel models. Based on secondary analyses on an existing EMA data set, it can be concluded that adding cyclic terms in EMA analyses may improve model t and may help understanding the dynamic processes.

At this juncture customer data migration needs to be dealt with highly expertise and professional in this field so over keen interest in this project is to provide a depth analysis on its methodologies and intervening process and techniques that needs to dealt with the accompanying need to complete this work successfully and efficiently.

In this paper we discuss an application of network computing in the area of stochastic simulation. We focus on main programming issues associated with designing of the latest version of AKAROA2, a simulation package in which network computing is applied in a practical and user-friendly way. This implemention is based on Multiple Replications In Parallel (MRIP) scenario of distributed simulation, in which multiple computers of a network operate as concurrent simulation engines generating statistically equivalent simulation output data, and submitting them to global data analysers responsible for analysis of the final results and for stopping the simulation. The MRIP scenario can achieve speedup equal to the number of processors used.

Researchers who analyse smartphone usage logs often make the assumption that users who lock and unlock their phone for brief periods of time (e.g., less than a minute) are continuing the same “session” of interaction. However, this assumption is not empirically validated, and in fact different studies apply different arbitrary thresholds in their analysis. To validate this assumption, we conducted a field study where we collected user-labelled activity data through ESM and sensor logging. Our results indicate that for the majority of instances where users return to their smartphone, i.e., unlock their device, they in fact begin a new session as opposed to continuing a previous one. Our findings suggest that the commonly used approach of ignoring brief standby periods is not reliable, but optimisation is possible. We therefore propose various metrics related to usage sessions and evaluate various machine learning approaches to classify gaps in usage.

Quantitative analysis of software systems has been recognized to be important and useful for requirements and design, and, specifically, performance analysis should be integrated in the software development life cycle from the early stages. To this aim, several approaches have been recently proposed to integrate or combine performance analysis and software architecture specification. In this paper we present a brief review and a comparison of some approaches that derive performance models from SA specification. We focus on the generality of the proposed methodologies, the required constraints and assumptions, the type of performance model, the separation of performance model and specification language, the implementation, and how easily the obtained performance results can provide a feedback to the software designer.

This paper is concerned with the simulation analysis of discrete-state stochastic models such as queueing systems or stochastic Petri nets, in which arbitrary probability distributions may be assigned to the activities. The analysis is performed on the state space using a numerical approach, rather than the usual discrete-event simulation at the model level. A new computational paradigm, the so-called Proxel (probability element) is introduced, which allows an approximation to the continuous stochastic process of the Petri net to be developed which does not require the use of differential equations. This proxel-based computational model directly yields a simulation algorithm which is readily understood and implemented. Simulation experiments are used to illustrate the behaviour of the method and to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the method compared to the alternatives. It is implemented as a modular architecture which integrates a forecasting model, a planner and a simulation module. The electricity has become a part of daily life, which plays an important role in our homes and industries. The system is now focused on the growing demand of power and the need of finding the alternative energy source. The idea of a 'smart city' is the key solution to these power related problems, giving us a futuristic scope. Better understanding of domestic and commercial energy usage brings with it a problem of managing and classifying the sheer amount of data that comes along with it. The work proposal is basically to overcome the demand of power using smart meter in electric power consumption benefiting customer to monitor and manage the electric power usage. This idea is made easier by applying Machine Learning's. Decision Support System an application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to classify and distribute energy while managing and enhancing the other supporting features of an Electric S mart Meter (ES M) using Internet of Things (IOT). We plan on introducing smart meters as a 'live' communication tool connecting the provider with its customers, which will cause the electrical network industry to face a 360 degree turn around towards a customer-centric business. The system employs the Bayesian Network (BN) prediction model with the three machine learning model that is Naïve Bayes (NB), Decision Tree (DT) and Random Forest (RT). The ES M systems network model is based on the four cornerstones fundamental to IOT: sensing, computing, communication, and actuation.

In the midst of the current debate on the use of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) in
support of the economic and financial crisis resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the article first summarizes
the historical origins of this institution, its legal nature, the sources governing it and its application during its short
story. After that, it’s critically analyzed the actual possibility of using the financial support tools provided by the
ESM Treaty and by its Guidelines, without activating the strict conditions of clause 136.3, ECFT and 3 ESM
Treaty. The application of the ESM in a light configuration, conditioned only by the expense commitment due to
the assignment of the credit line called Pandemic Crisis Support (PCS), established on the basis of the existing
Enhanced Conditions Credit Line (ECCL), ad hoc to face the pandemic crisis, is questioned by the letter of the
regulatory body governing its operations. Besides that, according to the analysis of the regulations, there is some
concerns about the possibility of modifying the conditionality in a stricter sense at a time following the access to
precautionary financial assistance. Finally, the article wonders which scenarios are likely to be expected as a
consequence of the activation of the ESM in an anti-pandemic purpose, especially considering the nature of this
Institution, created to guarantee the financial stability of the Eurozone and with the role of lender of last resort

Dieses Buch beschäftigt sich mit den neuen Reformen der Economic Governance der EU. Im Zeitfenster der Europäischen Staatsschuldenkrise (2009-2013) und anhand des Theorierahmens aus Neofunktionalismus und Intergouvernementalismus, wurde nach der Ausgestaltung und der Integration der neuen Economic Governance geforscht. Die aktuellen Governance Reformen EFSF, ESM, SKS-Vertrag, Six-Pack, Euro-Plus-Pakt, und Europäische Semester wurden durch die integrationstheoretische Operationalisierung analysiert, sowie dessen Einordnung in vertikaler- und horizontaler Integration vorgenommen.
