Abstract
本發明提供再溶解性、黏接性及耐藥品性(耐電解液性)優異之黏接劑組成物,並提供含有由此黏接劑組成物構成之黏接劑層之電池用包裝材料及使用了前述包裝材料之電池。一種黏接劑組成物,含有酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)及有機溶劑(C),且再溶解試驗後之酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)、及該等之反應產物之附著物之合計量為200g/m2
以下。
Description
本發明係關於顯示聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材之良好的再溶解性、黏接性、及耐藥品性的黏接劑組成物。更詳言之,係關於含有酸改性聚烯烴、硬化劑、及有機溶劑之黏接劑組成物。尤其係關於鋰離子電池(以下簡稱LiB)用黏接劑組成物,以及含有此組成物之疊層體包裝材料。
近年來,作為個人電腦、行動電話等可攜式端末裝置、攝影機、衛星等中使用的電池而言,積極開發可能超薄型化、小型化的LiB。此LiB的包裝材料,和以往使用的金屬製罐不同,考量質輕且可自由選擇電池之形狀之優點,逐漸開始使用如基材層/阻隔層/密封劑層之組成之疊層體。
LiB,就電池內容物而言,含有正極材及負極材,以及由鋰鹽溶於碳酸伸丙酯、碳酸伸乙酯、碳酸二甲酯、碳酸二乙酯、碳酸乙基甲酯等非質子性溶劑而得之電解液或含浸了此電解液之聚合物凝膠構成的電解質層。如此的強滲透性之溶劑若通過密封劑層,會使阻隔層與密封劑層間之層合強度降低而發生分層(delamination),最終發生電解液漏出的問題。又,就係電池之電解質的鋰鹽而言,係使用LiPF6
、LiBF4
等物質,但是該等鹽會因為和水分的水解反應導致生成氫氟酸,氫氟酸會將阻隔層予以腐蝕,致使層合強度下降。電池用包裝材料,因為如此,需對於電解質有耐受性。
又,LiB假設要在各式各樣的環境下使用,需要有面對更苛酷的環境的耐性。例如:使用在可攜式設備時,要求在車內等60~70℃這樣的高溫環境下的耐漏液性。又,假設使用行動電話時不小心掉落到水中,需要水分不會浸入的耐水性。
基於如此的狀況,已有各種改良耐電解液性之鋰電池用包裝材料被提案出來(例如:參照專利文獻1~3)。

(發明欲解決之課題)
但是前述提案的鋰電池用包裝材料,就耐電解液性及成形性方面尚非完美。又,即使耐電解液性及成形性有大幅改善,仍然有問題。
具體而言,已觀察到下列問題:難以兼顧硬化劑摻合後之黏接劑之適用期性確保與耐電解液性(專利文獻1);由於係利用擠壓層合來實施黏接,所以層合機台受到限制;或由於係在高溫貼合,聚烯烴基材會受到熱收縮的影響(專利文獻2),聚烯烴主劑為水系,故乾燥時間長,生產條件受限(專利文獻3)等。
再者,於層合薄膜之製造步驟,未轉移到薄膜而殘存在凹版印刷輥上的黏接劑組成物,若維持附著的狀態乾燥則會成為固體的附著物,若此附著物堆積則會造成凹版印刷輥堵塞,有時成為良率下降的原因。為了不使附著物不乾燥且發生堵塞,希望黏接劑組成物有再溶解性,亦即在成為固體附著物前,黏接劑組成物會再度溶於黏接劑組成物之性質。黏接劑組成物的再溶解性優異的話,生產條件不受限制,可製造由黏接劑組成物構成的黏接劑層。
本發明之課題在於提供再溶解性、黏接性及耐藥品性(耐電解液性)優異的黏接劑組成物。進而,提供含有由此黏接劑組成物構成之黏接劑層之電池用包裝材料及使用了前述包裝材料之電池。
(解決課題之方式)
為了達成上述課題,本案發明人等努力研究,發現選擇適當的溶劑種類及溶劑的組成係有效,乃提出下列發明。
一種黏接劑組成物,含有酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)及有機溶劑(C),且再溶解試驗後之酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)、及該等之反應產物之附著物之合計量為200g/m2
以下。
如前述黏接劑組成物,其中,該硬化劑(B)為環氧樹脂或異氰酸酯樹脂。
如前述任一項之黏接劑組成物,其中,相對於酸改性聚烯烴(A)100質量份,含有0.5~40質量份之硬化劑(B)、80~2000質量份之有機溶劑(C)。
如前述任一項之黏接劑組成物,其中,有機溶劑(C)含有有機溶劑(C3),且含有選自由有機溶劑(C1)、有機溶劑(C2)及有機溶劑(C4)構成之群組中之2種以上之有機溶劑;
有機溶劑(C1):選自由脂肪族烴及脂環族烴構成之群組中之1種以上且沸點未達110℃之有機溶劑;
有機溶劑(C2):選自由醇系溶劑、酮系溶劑、酯系溶劑及甘醇醚系溶劑構成之群組中之1種以上且沸點未達110℃之有機溶劑;
有機溶劑(C3):選自由脂肪族烴及脂環族烴構成之群組中之1種以上且沸點為110℃以上之有機溶劑;
有機溶劑(C4):選自由醇系溶劑、酮系溶劑、酯系溶劑、及甘醇醚系溶劑構成之群組中之1種以上且沸點為110℃以上之有機溶劑。
如前述任一項之黏接劑組成物,係使用於聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材之黏接。
一種聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材之疊層體,係利用如如前述任一項之黏接劑組成物黏接而得。
一種鋰離子電池用包裝材料,係以前述疊層體作為構成構件。
(發明之效果)
本發明之黏接劑組成物,含有酸改性聚烯烴、硬化劑、及有機溶劑,且製造層合薄膜時,可使黏接劑組成物之乾燥物不會堆積在凹版印刷輥上而可塗佈。進而,即使在聚烯烴基材之熱收縮影響為小之如120℃以下之低溫貼合,在如40℃以下之低溫進行熟化,仍可展現聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材之良好的黏接性及耐藥品性。
依照本發明,能夠於維持良好的再溶解性的狀態,利用基材貼合後之熟化步驟使其充分硬化,並可展現優良的黏接性及耐藥品性。
以下針對本發明之實施形態詳細說明。
<酸改性聚烯烴(A)>
本發明使用之酸改性聚烯烴(A)不限定,宜為藉由使α,β-不飽和羧酸及其酸酐中之至少1種接枝於聚乙烯、聚丙烯及丙烯-α-烯烴共聚物中之至少1種而獲得者較佳。
丙烯-α-烯烴共聚物,係以丙烯作為主體,而使其與α-烯烴共聚合而得者。α-烯烴,例如:可使用乙烯、1-丁烯、1-庚烯、1-辛烯、4-甲基-1-戊烯、乙酸乙烯酯等中的1種或數種。該等α-烯烴之中,乙烯、1-丁烯為較佳。丙烯-α-烯烴共聚物之丙烯成分與α-烯烴成分之比率不限定,丙烯成分為50莫耳%以上較佳,70莫耳%以上更佳。
就α,β-不飽和羧酸及其酸酐中至少1種而言,可列舉例如:馬來酸、衣康酸、檸康酸及該等之酸酐。該等之中,酸酐較理想,馬來酸酐更理想。具體而言,可列舉馬來酸酐改性聚丙烯、馬來酸酐改性丙烯-乙烯共聚物、馬來酸酐改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物、馬來酸酐改性丙烯-乙烯-丁烯共聚物等,可使用此等酸改性聚烯烴中之1種或將2種以上組合使用。
酸改性聚烯烴(A)之酸價,考量聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材之黏接性及耐電解液性之觀點,宜為2~50mgKOH/g-resin之範圍較佳。更佳為3~45mgKOH/g-resin,又更佳為5~40mgKOH/g-resin,尤佳為7~35mgKOH/g-resin之範圍。若未達前述値,有時欠缺和硬化劑之相容性。有時因而交聯密度低,黏接強度、耐藥品性(耐電解液性)降低。若超過前述値,則分子量低,凝聚力減弱,故有黏接強度、耐藥品性(耐電解液性)降低的情形。且製造效率也會下降,故不理想。
酸改性聚烯烴(A)之酸價可利用α,β-不飽和羧酸、α,β-不飽和羧酸之酸酐及自由基產生劑之使用量來調整。
酸改性聚烯烴(A)之重量平均分子量(Mw)宜為10,000~200,000之範圍較佳。更佳為20,000~180,000之範圍,又更佳為30,000~160,000之範圍,尤佳為40,000~140,000之範圍,最佳為50,000~110,000之範圍。若未達前述値,凝聚力減弱,有時黏接性不佳。另一方面,若超過前述値,則流動性低,黏接時之操作性有時會發生問題。若為前述範圍內,則和硬化劑之硬化反應活潑,故為理想。
酸改性聚烯烴(A)宜為結晶性較佳。藉由使酸改性聚烯烴為結晶性,相較於非晶性,凝聚力較強,黏接性、耐藥品性優異,故為有利。
酸改性聚烯烴(A)之結晶性,係指使用差示掃描型熱量計(DSC),從-100℃到250℃以20℃/分升溫時,在該升溫過程顯示明確熔解峰部之意。
酸改性聚烯烴(A)之熔點(Tm),宜為50℃~120℃之範圍較佳。更佳為60℃~100℃之範圍,最佳為70℃~90℃之範圍。若未達前述値,則來自結晶的凝聚力減弱,有時黏接性、耐藥品性不佳。另一方面,若超過前述値,則溶液安定性、流動性低,黏接時之操作性有時會發生問題。
酸改性聚烯烴(A)之熔解熱(ΔH),宜為1J/g~60J/g之範圍較佳。更佳為3J/g~50J/g之範圍,最佳為5J/g~40J/g之範圍。若未達前述値,則來自結晶之凝聚力減弱,有時黏接性、耐藥品性不佳。另一方面,若超過前述値,溶液安定性、流動性低,黏接時之操作性有時會發生問題。
酸改性聚烯烴(A)之製造方法不特別限定,例如自由基接枝反應(亦即對於成為主鏈之聚合物生成自由基物種,以此自由基物種作為聚合開始點,使不飽和羧酸及酸酐接枝聚合的反應)等。
自由基產生劑不特別限定,宜使用有機過氧化物較佳。有機過氧化物不特別限定,可以列舉過氧化酞酸二第三丁酯、第三丁基過氧化氫、過氧化二異丙苯、過氧化苯甲醯、過氧化苯甲酸第三丁酯、過氧化-2-乙基己酸第三丁酯、過氧化三甲基乙酸第三丁酯、過氧化甲乙酮、二第三丁基過氧化物、過氧化月桂醯等過氧化物;偶氮雙異丁腈、偶氮雙異丙腈等偶氮腈類等。
<硬化劑(B)>
本發明使用之硬化劑(B)不特別限定,宜使用環氧硬化劑或多官能聚異氰酸酯硬化劑較佳。
本發明使用之環氧硬化劑不特別限定,宜使用環氧樹脂及由它們衍生的化合物。具體例可列舉環氧丙胺型環氧樹脂、環氧丙醚型環氧樹脂、六氫酞酸環氧丙酯、二聚酸環氧丙酯等環氧丙酯類、或3,4-環氧環己基甲基羧酸酯、環氧化聚丁二烯、環氧化大豆油等脂環族或脂肪族環氧化物等,可單獨使用1種也可併用2種以上。
本發明使用之環氧丙胺型環氧樹脂之具體例不特別限定,可以列舉四環氧丙基二胺基二苯基甲烷、三環氧丙基對胺基苯酚、四環氧丙基雙胺基甲基環己酮、N,N,N’,N’-四環氧丙基間亞二甲苯二胺等環氧丙胺系等。其中,N,N,N’,N’-四環氧丙基間亞二甲苯二胺為較佳。此等環氧丙胺型環氧樹脂可以單獨使用或併用2種以上。
環氧丙醚型環氧樹脂之具體例不特別限定,可列舉苯酚酚醛清漆型環氧樹脂、甲酚酚醛清漆型環氧樹脂,它們從和金屬基材之黏接性及耐藥品性之觀點係較理想。此等環氧丙醚型環氧樹脂可以單獨使用或併用2種以上。
就本發明使用之環氧硬化劑而言,考量和金屬基材之黏接性及耐藥品性之觀點,宜將環氧丙胺型環氧樹脂與環氧丙醚型環氧樹脂予以併用較佳。理想的質量比,為環氧丙胺型環氧樹脂/環氧丙醚型環氧樹脂=1以上30以下/99以下70以上,更佳為5以上20以下/95以下80以上,又更佳為8以上15以下/92以下75以上。
本發明使用之多官能聚異氰酸酯硬化劑不特別限定,宜使用二異氰酸酯、三異氰酸酯及由此等衍生的化合物。
例如:2,4-甲伸苯基二異氰酸酯、2,6-甲伸苯基二異氰酸酯、亞二甲苯二異氰酸酯、二苯基甲烷二異氰酸酯、異佛爾酮二異氰酸酯、1,5-萘二異氰酸酯、六亞甲基二異氰酸酯、雙(4-異氰酸酯環己基)甲烷、或氫化二苯基甲烷二異氰酸酯等二異氰酸酯。進而,可列舉由前述二異氰酸酯衍生的化合物,亦即前述二異氰酸酯之異氰尿酸酯體、加合體、雙縮脲型、脲二酮、脲甲酸酯(allophanate)體、具異氰酸酯殘基之預聚物(由二異氰酸酯與多元醇獲得之低聚合物)、三環氧丙基異氰尿酸酯、或該等之複合體等。可以將它們單獨使用,也可將2種以上予以任意組合使用。
就本發明使用之多官能聚異氰酸酯硬化劑而言,考量其中耐電解液性優良的理由,宜為具有前述二異氰酸酯化合物之異氰尿酸酯體者較佳。
本發明使用之硬化劑(B),除了環氧硬化劑、多官能聚異氰酸酯硬化劑以外,也可列舉碳二亞胺化合物、㗁唑啉化合物、偶聯劑類等。就碳二亞胺化合物而言,可列舉使二甲基碳二亞胺、二異丙基碳二亞胺、二環己基碳二亞胺、第三丁基異丙基碳二亞胺、二苯基碳二亞胺、二-β-萘基碳二亞胺等單碳二亞胺化合物類、或脂肪族二異氰酸酯、芳香族二異氰酸酯、或脂環族二異氰酸酯等有機二異氰酸酯於縮合觸媒存在下、無溶劑或鈍性溶劑中進行脫碳酸縮合反應而能製造的聚碳二亞胺化合物類等。又,㗁唑啉化合物可以列舉2-㗁唑啉、2-甲基-2-㗁唑啉、2-苯基-2-㗁唑啉、2,5-二甲基-2-㗁唑啉、或2,4-二苯基-2-㗁唑啉等單㗁唑啉化合物、2,2’-(1,3-伸苯基)-雙(2-㗁唑啉)、2,2’-(1,2-伸乙基)-雙(2-㗁唑啉)、2,2’-(1,4-伸丁基)-雙(2-㗁唑啉)、或2,2’-(1,4-伸苯基)-雙(2-㗁唑啉)等二㗁唑啉化合物等。又,偶聯劑可以列舉矽烷偶聯劑、鈦酸酯偶聯劑等。
本發明使用之硬化劑(B)之摻合量,相對於酸改性聚烯烴(A)100質量份為0.5~40質量份之範圍較理想,更佳為1~35質量份,又更佳為2~30質量份,尤佳為3~25質量份之範圍。若未達前述値,得不到充分的硬化效果,會有黏接性及耐藥品性低的情形。若超過前述範圍,有時適用期性、黏接性降低,且由於追隨性下降,導致成形時有時會出現針孔。進而由成本面之觀點不理想。
<有機溶劑(C)>
本發明使用之有機溶劑(C),只要是會使酸改性聚烯烴(A)及硬化劑(B)溶解或分散者即可,無特殊限制。較佳為有機溶劑(C)含有有機溶劑(C3)且含有選自由有機溶劑(C1)、有機溶劑(C2)及有機溶劑(C4)構成之群組中之2種以上之溶劑,且均勻地混合較佳。
有機溶劑(C1)宜為選自由脂肪族烴及脂環族烴構成之群組中之1種以上之有機溶劑且沸點未達110℃之有機溶劑較佳。具體例可以列舉己烷(沸點69℃,以下()內為沸點)、庚烷(98℃)等脂肪族烴、環己烷(80℃)、環己烯(83℃)、甲基環己烷(101℃)等脂環族烴等,可使用它們中的1種或併用2種以上。(C1)尤佳為脂環族烴,其中較理想的為環己烷、甲基環己烷,特理想者為環己烷。
有機溶劑(C2)宜為選自由醇系溶劑、酮系溶劑、酯系溶劑構成之群組中之1種以上之有機溶劑且沸點未達110℃之有機溶劑較佳。具體例可以列舉甲醇(60℃)、乙醇(78℃)、異丙醇(82℃)等醇系溶劑、丙酮(56℃)、甲乙酮(80℃)、3-戊酮(101℃)、乙酸丙酯(102℃)等酮系溶劑、乙酸甲酯(58℃)、乙酸乙酯(77℃)、丙酸甲酯(79℃)、甲酸丁酯(107℃)等酯系溶劑,可使用它們中的1種或併用2種以上。(C2)宜為熔點80℃以上較理想,尤佳為酮系溶劑,其中甲乙酮、乙酸丙酯較佳。
有機溶劑(C3)宜為選自由脂肪族烴及脂環族烴構成之群組中之1種以上之有機溶劑且沸點為110℃以上之有機溶劑較佳。更佳為130℃以上,又更佳為140℃以上,尤佳為150℃以上,最佳為160℃以上。具體例可以列舉辛烷(125℃)、壬烷(151℃)、癸烷(174℃)、十一烷(196℃)、十二烷(214-216℃)等脂肪族烴、二甲基環己烷(119℃)、乙基環己烷(131℃)等脂環族烴、烷烴系溶劑、異十二烷(170℃)、Shellsol TG(170-181℃)等異烷烴系溶劑等。有機溶劑(C3)可使用此等中的1種或併用2種以上。有機溶劑(C3)宜為烷烴系溶劑較理想,其中Shellsol MC311(167-180℃)較佳。沸點之上限宜為220℃以下較佳。更佳為210℃以下,又更佳為200℃以下,尤佳為190℃以下,最佳為185℃以下。即使超過前述範圍時再溶解性仍為良好,但塗佈時之乾燥性變差,有時導致黏接性下降。
有機溶劑(C4)宜為選自由醇系溶劑、酮系溶劑、酯系溶劑、甘醇醚系溶劑構成之群組中之1種以上之有機溶劑且沸點為110℃以上之有機溶劑較佳。具體例可列舉1-丁醇(118℃)、1-戊醇(138℃)、1-己醇(157℃)、1,3-丙二醇(211-217℃)等醇系溶劑、甲基異丁基酮(116℃)、2-己酮(127℃)、環己酮(155℃)、異佛爾酮(215℃)、苯乙酮(202℃)等酮系溶劑、乙酸丁酯(125℃)、乙酸正戊酯(150℃)等酯系溶劑、甲基賽珞蘇(125℃)、乙基賽珞蘇(136℃)等賽珞蘇類、乙二醇單第三丁醚(152℃)、二乙二醇單正丁醚(231℃)等甘醇醚系溶劑等,可使用它們中的1種或併用2種以上。尤佳為乙酸丁酯、乙酸正戊酯、環己酮,其中環己酮較佳。沸點之上限宜為250℃以下較理想,160℃以下更理想。即使超過上限,再溶解性仍良好,但塗佈時之乾燥性變差,有時導致黏接性下降。
有機溶劑(C)中宜不含芳香族烴較佳,有機溶劑(C)100質量%中之20質量%以下較理想,更佳為10質量%以下,又更佳為5質量%以下,尤佳為1質量%以下,0質量%亦無妨。
有機溶劑(C)相對於酸改性聚烯烴(A)100質量份為80~2000質量份之範圍較佳。更佳為90~1600質量份,又更佳為100~1200質量份,尤佳為110~800質量份之範圍。若未達前述範圍,有時溶液狀態及適用期性降低,若超過前述範圍,考量疊層體及含疊層體之LiB用包裝材料之生產性、製造成本、輸送成本方面有時不利。
考量黏接劑組成物之溶液狀態及適用期性之觀點,有機溶劑(C)含有有機溶劑(C3)且為選自由有機溶劑(C1)、有機溶劑(C2)及有機溶劑(C4)構成之群組中之2種以上之混合液較佳。使用有機溶劑(C1)、(C2)、(C3)、及(C4)時之混合比,宜為[溶劑(C1)+溶劑(C3)]/[溶劑(C2)+溶劑(C4)]=50~97/50~3(質量比)較佳,50~95/50~5(質量比)更佳,50~90/50~10(質量比)又更理想,50~70/50~30(質量比)尤佳。若落在上述範圍外,則有時黏接劑組成物之溶液狀態及適用期性降低。再者,考量再溶解性之觀點,有機溶劑(C3)設為100質量份,(C1)=0~2000質量份、(C2)=0~1000質量份、(C4)=0~300質量份,且至少(C1)、(C2)、及(C4)之2種以上不為0之混合溶劑,為有機溶劑(C1)與有機溶劑(C3)、有機溶劑(C2)及有機溶劑(C4)之4種之混合溶劑更佳。例如:使用之有機溶劑(C)之組合為(i)(C3)、(C1)及(C2)時,設有機溶劑(C3)為100質量份時,較佳為(C1)係20質量份以上260質量份以下、(C2)係5質量份以上300質量份以下,更佳為(C1)係40質量份以上160質量份以下、(C2)係20質量份以上200質量份以下。又,(ii)(C3)、(C1)、及(C4)時,設有機溶劑(C3)為100質量份時,較佳為(C1)係20質量份以上260質量份以下、(C4)係5質量份以上300質量份以下,更佳為(C1)係40質量份以上160質量份以下、(C4)係5質量份以上200質量份以下。又,(iii)(C3)、(C2)、及(C4)時,設有機溶劑(C3)為100質量份時,較佳為(C2)係5質量份以上300質量份以下、(C4)係5質量份以上300質量份以下,更佳為(C2)係5質量份以上200質量份以下、(C4)係5質量份以上200質量份以下。(iv)(C3)、(C1)、(C2)、及(C4)時,設有機溶劑(C3)為100質量份時,較佳為(C1)係20質量份以上2000質量份以下、(C2)係2質量份以上1000質量份以下、(C4)係1質量份以上300質量份以下,更佳為(C1)係200質量份以上1200質量份以下、(C2)係5質量份以上600質量份以下、(C4)係5質量份以上200質量份以下,更佳為(C1)係200質量份以上450質量份以下、(C2)係90質量份以上160質量份以下、(C4)係50質量份以上130質量份以下,尤佳為(C1)係250質量份以上350質量份以下、(C2)係100質量份以上145質量份以下、(C4)係70質量份以上120質量份以下。
又,有機溶劑(C1)為脂環族烴、有機溶劑(C3)為脂環族烴、烷烴系溶劑,且有機溶劑(C2)及有機溶劑(C4)為酮系溶劑尤佳。
<黏接劑組成物>
本發明之黏接劑組成物係前述酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)及有機溶劑(C)之混合物,考量再溶解性之觀點,酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)宜溶於有機溶劑(C)較佳。
黏接劑組成物中,再溶解試驗後之酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)、及酸改性聚烯烴(A)與硬化劑(B)之反應產物之附著物(以下也簡稱為附著物。)之合計量需為200g/m2
以下。較佳為100g/m2
以下,更佳為55g/m2
以下。若超過200g/m2
,於層合薄膜之製造步驟中,有時未轉移到薄膜而殘留在凹版印刷輥上之黏接劑組成物會乾燥並成為固體附著物而堆積,導致凹版印刷輥發生堵塞,成為良率下降之原因。下限不限定,但為0.1g/m2
以上較佳,更佳為5g/m2
以上。工業上,為0.1g/m2
以上即足夠。再溶解試驗可使用於評價黏接劑組成物之再溶解性。再溶解試驗,具體而言,係指將馬口鐵試驗板基材以從該基材之一端起算有4.5cm位在液面下之狀態浸於黏接劑組成物中2秒,之後將基材全體以50cm/秒的速度從液面拉起,並於25℃在氣體環境下放置15秒。以此一連串的操作作為1個週期,實施30個週期。再溶解試驗後之附著量,係指30個週期後於25℃氣體環境下乾燥30分鐘而得的基材對浸漬面積之附著物量。
本發明之黏接劑組成物,在無損本發明性能之範圍內,除了前述酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)及有機溶劑(C)以外,尚可以摻合各種之黏接賦予劑、熱塑性彈性體、塑化劑並使用。黏接賦予劑不特別限定,可以列舉聚萜烯系樹脂、松香系樹脂、脂肪族系石油樹脂、脂環族系石油樹脂、共聚合系石油樹脂及氫化石油樹脂等。又,熱塑性彈性體可列舉苯乙烯-乙烯-丁烯-苯乙烯共聚合樹脂、苯乙烯-乙烯-丙烯-苯乙烯等苯乙烯系彈性體、乙烯-丙烯共聚合樹脂、乙烯-丁烯共聚合樹脂、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚合樹脂、乙烯-丙烯酸乙酯共聚合樹脂等烯烴系彈性體等。又,塑化劑較佳可列舉聚異戊二烯、聚丁烯等液狀橡膠、處理油等。又,該等黏接賦予劑、熱塑性彈性體、塑化劑可僅使用1種,也可併用2種以上。
本發明之黏接劑組成物中,在無損本發明性能之範圍內,除了前述酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)及有機溶劑(C)以外,尚可摻合硬化促進劑並使用。硬化促進劑不特別限定,可列舉羧酸金屬鹽、3級胺類、4級銨鹽、有機過氧化物、聯胺化合物、金屬螯合物化合物、含磷化合物、鹼性加硫劑類等。前述羧酸金屬鹽可列舉碳數1~30之羧酸之金屬鹽。構成該羧酸金屬鹽之羧酸,例如:乙酸、丁酸、辛酸、癸酸、月桂酸、肉豆蔲酸、棕櫚酸、硬脂酸、油酸、二十二酸、辛烯酸、芥酸、反油酸、己二酸、丙二酸、琥珀酸、戊二酸、檸檬酸、酒石酸、蘋果酸、二甘醇酸等脂肪族羧酸;苯甲酸、氯苯甲酸、大茴香酸、胺基苯甲酸、鄰苯二甲酸、對苯二甲酸、萘甲酸(naphthoic acid)、萘二羧酸、苯三羧酸等芳香族羧酸;環烷酸;丙酮酸等。又,構成該羧酸金屬鹽之金屬,例如:Li、Na、K、Mg、Ca、Zn、Al、Cu、Pb、Co、Fe、Mn、Sn、Ti等。就該羧酸金屬鹽而言,具體而言可列舉乙酸鋰、乙酸鈉、乙酸鎂、乙酸鋁、丁酸鉀、丁酸鈣、丁酸鋅、辛酸鈉、辛酸鈣、癸酸鉀、癸酸鎂、癸酸鋅、月桂酸鋰、月桂酸鈉、月桂酸鈣、月桂酸鋁、肉豆蔲酸鉀、肉豆蔲酸鈉、肉豆蔲酸鋁、棕櫚酸鈉、棕櫚酸鋅、棕櫚酸鎂、硬脂酸鈉、硬脂酸鉀、硬脂酸鈣、硬脂酸鋅、油酸鈉、二十二酸鈉、苯甲酸鈉、苯甲酸鋅、鄰苯二甲酸鈉、鄰苯二甲酸鋁、對苯二甲酸鎂、萘二羧酸鈣、月桂酸二丁基錫、月桂酸三丁基錫、月桂酸二辛基錫、乙酸三丁基錫、二乙酸二丁基錫、二乙酸二辛基錫、2-乙基己酸二丁基錫、四丁基鈦酸鹽、四異丁基鈦酸鹽、四2-乙基己基鈦酸鹽、環烷酸鈷、環烷酸銅、環烷酸鎂、乙醯乙酸鈷等。該等之中,較佳為月桂酸鋰、月桂酸鈉、月桂酸鈣、月桂酸鋁,肉豆蔲酸鉀、肉豆蔲酸鈉、肉豆蔲酸鋁、棕櫚酸鈉、棕櫚酸鋅、棕櫚酸鎂、硬脂酸鈉、硬脂酸鉀、硬脂酸鈣、硬脂酸鋅、油酸鈉。又,羧酸之金屬鹽也可使用有羧酸之金屬鹽結構之聚合物。如此的聚合物可列舉具有將乙烯與自由基聚合性羧酸之IA族、IIA族、IIB族、IIIB族之金屬(例如Li、Na、K、Mg、Ca、Zn、Al等)鹽予以共聚合而得之結構者;具有將乙烯與自由基聚合性羧酸之金屬鹽及其他自由基聚合性羧酸及/或其衍生物予以多元共聚合而得之結構者等。又,前述3級胺類,例如:二甲基苯胺、三乙醇胺、二甲基對甲苯胺等。又,前述聯胺化合物,例如:1-乙醯基-2-苯基聯胺等。又,前述金屬螯合物化合物,例如:乙醯基丙酮釩等。又,前述含磷化合物,例如:二甲基膦、三苯基膦等。
本發明之黏接劑組成物中,在無損本發明性能之範圍內,除了前述酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)及有機溶劑(C)以外,尚可摻合各種添加劑並使用。添加劑不特別限定,宜使用阻燃劑、顏料、抗黏連劑等較佳。
<疊層體>
本發明之疊層體,係將聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材以本發明之黏接劑組成物予以疊層而得者。
疊層方法可利用以往公知之層合製造技術。例如:不特別限定,可於金屬基材之表面使用塗佈輥、塗佈棒等適當塗佈工具塗佈黏接劑組成物,並使其乾燥。乾燥後,於形成在金屬基材表面之黏接劑組成物之層(黏接劑層)仍處於熔融狀態的期間,於此塗佈面將聚烯烴樹脂基材予以疊層黏接(疊合黏接),可獲得疊層體。
由前述黏接劑組成物形成之黏接劑層之厚度不特別限定,宜為0.5~10μm較佳,0.8~9.5μm更佳,1~9μm又更佳。
<聚烯烴樹脂基材>
聚烯烴樹脂基材從以往公知之聚烯烴樹脂當中適當選擇即可。例如:不特別限定,可以使用聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯-丙烯共聚物等。其中,使用聚丙烯之無延伸薄膜(以下也稱為CPP)較佳。其厚度不特別限定,20~100μm較佳,25~95μm更佳,30~90μm又更佳。又,聚烯烴樹脂基材中視需要可以摻合顏料、各種添加物,也可施以表面處理。
<金屬基材>
金屬基材不特別限定,可以使用例如鋁、銅、鐵鋼、鉻、鋅、杜拉鋁(Duralmin)、壓鑄品(die casting)等各種金屬及其合金。又,其形狀可採取金屬箔、壓延鋼板、面板、管、罐、蓋等任意之形狀。一般而言,考量加工性等觀點,鋁箔較佳。又,取決於使用目的而異,但一般而言,使用0.01~10mm,較佳為0.02~5mm之厚度之片材形態。
又,也可預先對金屬基材之表面實施表面處理,也可維持未處理。都可以發揮同等效果。

<酸改性聚烯烴(A)之製造例>

於1L高壓釜中加入丙烯-丁烯共聚物(Tm:80℃)100質量份、甲苯233質量份及馬來酸酐20質量份、二第三丁基過氧化物5質量份,升溫到140℃後再攪拌1小時(在此,稱為「反應」1小時)。之後將獲得之反應液冷卻到100℃後,邊攪拌邊加注到預先加溫到40℃之已裝有甲苯717質量份與甲乙酮950質量份的容器中,冷卻到40℃,再攪拌30分鐘,進一步冷卻到25℃,以使樹脂析出(在此,邊攪拌邊加注反應液於甲乙酮等溶劑中,並冷卻以使樹脂析出的操作稱為「再沉」)。之後將含有該樹脂之漿液進行離心分離,以分離出馬來酸酐接枝聚合成的酸改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物與(聚)馬來酸酐及低分子量物。
又,將離心分離而取出的酸改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物,邊攪拌邊投入到預先保溫在25℃的另一裝有2000質量份的甲乙酮的容器中,持續攪拌1小時。之後,將漿液離心分離,以進一步分離出酸改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物及(聚)馬來酸酐及低分子量物。重複該操作2次,以進行精製(在此,將邊攪拌邊將離心分離而取出之酸改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物投入到甲乙酮,並再度離心分離以強化精製之操作稱為「再製漿」)。
精製後,於減壓下於70℃乾燥5小時,獲得酸改性聚烯烴馬來酸酐改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物(PO-1、酸價25mgKOH/g-resin、重量平均分子量60,000、Tm80℃)。
製造例2
將製造例1使用之丙烯-丁烯共聚物(Tm:80℃)變更為丙烯-丁烯共聚物(Tm:90℃),並將再製漿次數變更為1次、再製漿時投入之甲乙酮之量變更為1000質量份,除此以外和製造例1同樣進行,以獲得酸改性聚烯烴馬來酸酐改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物(PO-2、酸價25mgKOH/g-resin、重量平均分子量60,000、Tm90℃)。
製造例3
將馬來酸酐之進料量改為3質量份、二第三丁基過氧化物之進料量變更為1質量份,再製漿次數變更為1次、再製漿時投入之甲乙酮之量變更為1000質量份,除此以外與製造例1同樣進行,獲得酸改性聚烯烴馬來酸酐改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物(PO-3、酸價5mgKOH/g-resin、重量平均分子量90,000、Tm80℃)。
(主劑1之製作)
於配備水冷回流冷凝器及攪拌機之500ml之四口燒瓶內,裝入製造例1獲得之馬來酸酐改性丙烯-丁烯共聚物(PO-1)100質量份、環己烷130質量份、ISOPAR E130質量份及甲乙酮140質量份,邊攪拌邊升溫到80℃,持續攪拌1小時後冷卻,以獲得主劑1。溶液狀態示於表1及表2。
(主劑2~25之製作)
將酸改性聚烯烴及有機溶劑依表1及表2所示變更,並以和主劑1同樣的方法製作主劑2~25。摻合量、溶液狀態如表1及表2所示。
表1、2使用的有機溶劑如下。
ISOPAR E(註冊商標、Exxon Mobil製):異烷烴系溶劑、沸點115-123℃
Shellsol MC311(註冊商標、SHELL化學公司製):烷烴系溶劑、沸點167-180℃
Exxsol D40(註冊商標、Exxon Mobil製):環烷系溶劑、沸點166-191℃
ISOPAR G(註冊商標、Exxon Mobil製):異烷烴系溶劑、沸點166-177℃
ISOPAR L(註冊商標、Exxon Mobil製):異烷烴系溶劑、沸點184-199℃
實施例1
摻合500質量份之主劑1、作為硬化劑(B)之jER(註冊商標)152(三菱化學公司製)25質量份、TETRAD(註冊商標)-X(三菱瓦斯化學公司製)3質量份,獲得黏接劑組成物。對此黏接劑組成物評價適用期性、黏接性、耐藥品性及再溶解性。結果示於表3及表4。
實施例2~22、比較例1~4
將主劑1~25及各硬化劑如表3及表4所示變更,以和實施例1同樣的方法進行實施例2~22、比較例1~4。摻合量、適用期性、黏接性、耐藥品性及再溶解性之結果示於表3及表4。
表3、表4使用之硬化劑如下。
環氧丙醚型環氧樹脂:jER(註冊商標)152(三菱化學公司製)
環氧丙胺型環氧樹脂:TETRAD(註冊商標)-X(三菱瓦斯化學公司製)
多官能聚異氰酸酯:SUMIDUR(註冊商標)N3300(Covestro公司製)
對於如上述獲得之各酸改性聚烯烴、主劑及黏接劑組成物,依下列方法實施分析測定及評價。
酸價之測定
本發明中之酸價(mgKOH/g-resin),係指為了將1g的酸改性聚烯烴(A)中和所必要的KOH量,係依據JIS K0070(1992)的試驗方法測定。具體而言,使酸改性聚烯烴1g溶解於調溫至100℃的二甲苯100g後,於同溫度以苯酚酚酞作為指示劑,以0.1mol/L氫氧化鉀乙醇溶液[商品名「0.1mol/L乙醇性氫氧化鉀溶液」、和光純藥(股)製]進行滴定。此時,將滴定所需的氫氧化鉀量換算為mg,算出酸價(mgKOH/g)。
重量平均分子量(Mw)之測定
本發明中之重量平均分子量,係以日本Waters公司製凝膠滲透層析Alliance e2695(以下稱為GPC、標準物質:聚苯乙烯樹脂、移動相:四氫呋喃、管柱:Shodex KF-806+KF-803、管柱溫度:40℃、流速:1.0ml/分、檢測器:光二極體陣列檢測器(波長254nm=紫外線))測得之値。
熔點、熔解熱之測定
本發明中之熔點、熔解熱,係使用差示掃描熱量計(以下稱為DSC,TA Instrument Japan製,Q-2000),以10℃/分的速度進行升溫熔解、冷卻樹脂化,從再度升溫熔解時之熔解峰部的頂部溫度及面積測定的値。
主劑溶液狀態之評價
針對主劑1~25之溶液狀態,使用東機產業公司製之Brook Field型黏度計TVB-10M(以下也稱為B型黏度計)測定25℃之溶液黏度,以進行評價。
<評價基準>
○(可實用):未達1000mPa・s
×(不能實用):1000mPa・s以上或由於凝膠化而無法測定黏度
再溶解性之評價
再溶解性,係指摻合了酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)、及有機溶劑(C)之黏接劑組成物塗佈於基材後經一定時間後再溶於該組成物之性質。
再溶解性試驗的方法
於200mL的拋棄式杯中裝入黏接劑組成物150mL,重複浸入預先測定了重量的馬口鐵試驗板(Nippon Test Panel公司製、切片馬口鐵、厚度25μm、大小 50mm×10mm),於25℃進行30分鐘乾燥後再度測定試驗板的重量。試驗板浸漬,係將馬口鐵試驗板以從該試驗板之一端起算4.5cm為液面下之狀態浸漬2秒後,將基材全體以50cm/秒的速度從液面拉起,於25℃氣體環境下放置15秒,直到再度浸漬為止,作為1個週期,實施30個週期。樹脂附著量為浸漬前後之試驗板之重量之差距除以浸漬面積而得的値。

。
適用期性之評價
適用期性,係指於酸改性聚烯烴中摻合交聯劑或硬化劑,於剛摻合時或摻合後經一定時間後之該溶液之安定性。適用期性良好時,指溶液之黏度上昇少,可長期間保存,適用期性不良時,指溶液之黏度上昇(增黏),嚴重時發生凝膠化現象,難以塗佈於基材,不能長期間保存。
黏接劑組成物之適用期性,係藉由在25℃氣體環境保存24小時後,使用B型黏度計測定25℃之溶液黏度以評價。
評價結果示於表3及表4。

☆(實用上特優異):未達300mPa・s
◎(實用上優異):300mPa・s以上未達500mPa・s
○(可實用):500mPa・s以上未達1000mPa・s
×(不能實用):1000mPa・s以上或因為凝膠化而無法測定黏度
金屬基材與聚烯烴樹脂基材之疊層體之製作
金屬基材使用鋁箔(住輕鋁箔公司製、8079-0、厚度40μm),聚烯烴樹脂基材使用無延伸聚丙烯薄膜(東洋紡公司製PYLEN(註冊商標)薄膜CT、厚度40μm)(以下也稱為CPP)。
將實施例1~22及比較例1~4獲得之黏接劑組成物使用塗佈棒調整並塗佈在金屬基材,使乾燥後之黏接劑層之膜厚成為3μm。塗佈面使用溫風乾燥機在100℃氣體環境乾燥5分鐘,獲得疊層有膜厚3μm之黏接劑層之金屬基材。在前述黏接劑層表面重疊聚烯烴樹脂基材,使用Tester產業公司製之小型桌上測試層合機(SA-1010-S),以層合溫度80℃,以0.3MPa、1m/分的條件貼合,於25℃、50%RH熟成36小時,以獲得疊層體。
對於如上述獲得之疊層體,依下列方法評價。
黏接性之評價
將前述疊層體裁切成100mm×15mm大小,以T型剝離試驗依下列基準評價黏接性。評價結果示於表3及表4。
<T型剝離試驗>
依據ASTM-D1876-61的試驗法,使用ORIENTEC CORPORATION公司製之Tensilon RTM-100,於25℃環境下測定拉伸速度50mm/分時之剝離強度。金屬基材/聚烯烴樹脂基材間之剝離強度(N/cm),係定義為5次試驗値之平均値。
<評價基準>
☆(實用上特優異):8.0N/cm以上或CPP發生材破(以下也簡稱「材破」)。材破,係指於金屬基材/CPP之界面不發生剝離,金屬基材或CPP被破壞。
◎(實用上優異):7.5N/cm以上未達8.0N/cm
○(實用可能):7.0N/cm以上未達7.5N/cm
×(實用不可能):未達7.0N/cm
耐藥品性之評價
為了探討作為LiB之包裝材的利用性,實施利用電解液試驗所為之耐藥品性(以下也稱為耐電解液性)之評價。將前述疊層體切斷為100mm×15mm大小,於85℃浸於電解液[碳酸伸乙酯/碳酸二乙酯/碳酸二甲酯=1/1/1(容積比)100g中添加了13g的六氟化磷酸鋰者]1日。之後取出疊層體,以離子交換水洗淨,以紙巾擦去水,使水充分乾燥,切斷成100mm×15mm大小,利用T型剝離試驗,依下列基準評價耐藥品性。評價結果示於表3及表4。

☆(實用上特優異):8.0N/cm以上或材破
◎(實用上優異):7.5N/cm以上未達8.0N/cm
○(可實用):7.0N/cm以上未達7.5N/cm
×(不可實用):未達7.0N/cm
[產業利用性]
本發明之黏接劑組成物,含有酸改性聚烯烴、硬化劑及有機溶劑,即使長期生產也不發生摻合液固化析出,能維持良好的適用期性,且可兼顧金屬基材與聚烯烴樹脂基材之良好的黏接性、耐電解液性。因此,由本發明之黏接劑組成物形成的聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材的疊層體,不僅可以利用在家電外板、家具用材料、建築內裝用構件等領域,尚可廣泛用在作為個人電腦、行動電話、攝影機等中使用的鋰電池的包裝材(囊袋形態)。
Claims (7)
- 一種黏接劑組成物,含有酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)及有機溶劑(C),且再溶解試驗後之酸改性聚烯烴(A)、硬化劑(B)、及該等之反應產物之附著物之合計量為200g/m2 以下。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之黏接劑組成物,其中,該硬化劑(B)為環氧樹脂或異氰酸酯樹脂。
- 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之黏接劑組成物,其中,相對於酸改性聚烯烴(A)100質量份,含有0.5~40質量份之硬化劑(B)、80~2000質量份之有機溶劑(C)。
- 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之黏接劑組成物,其中,有機溶劑(C)含有有機溶劑(C3),且含有選自由有機溶劑(C1)、有機溶劑(C2)及有機溶劑(C4)構成之群組中之2種以上之有機溶劑; 有機溶劑(C1):選自由脂肪族烴及脂環族烴構成之群組中之1種以上且沸點未達110℃之有機溶劑; 有機溶劑(C2):選自由醇系溶劑、酮系溶劑、酯系溶劑及甘醇醚系溶劑構成之群組中之1種以上且沸點未達110℃之有機溶劑; 有機溶劑(C3):選自由脂肪族烴及脂環族烴構成之群組中之1種以上且沸點為110℃以上之有機溶劑; 有機溶劑(C4):選自由醇系溶劑、酮系溶劑、酯系溶劑、及甘醇醚系溶劑構成之群組中之1種以上且沸點為110℃以上之有機溶劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第1或2項之黏接劑組成物,係使用於聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材之黏接。
- 一種聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材之疊層體,係利用如申請專利範圍第1至5項中任一項之黏接劑組成物黏接而得。
- 一種鋰離子電池用包裝材料,係以如申請專利範圍第6項之聚烯烴樹脂基材與金屬基材之疊層體作為構成構件。
