Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a métodos para el control y/o la prevención de plagas que habitan en el suelo en plantas útiles que comprende aplicar en el emplazamiento de la planta útil o tratar el material de propagación vegetal de esta con un compuesto de fórmula I (ver Fórmula) en donde -B1-B2-B3- es -C=N-O-, -C=N-CH2-, -C=CH2-O- o -N-CH2-CH2-; L es un enlace directo o metileno; A1 y A2 son C-H, o uno de los grupos A1 y A2 es C-H y el otro es N; X1 es un grupo X (ver Fórmula) R1 es alquilo C1-C4, haloalquilo C1-C4 o cicloalquilo C3-C6 R2 es clorodifluorometilo o trifluorometilo; cada R3 es independientemente bromo, cloro, fluoro o trifluorometilo; R4 es hidrógeno, halógeno, metilo, halometilo o ciano; R5 es hidrógeno; o R4 y R5 juntos forman un grupo 1,3-butadieno que actúa como puente; p es 2 o 3. Preferentemente, la plaga que habita en el suelo se selecciona entre el gusano de la raíz del maíz, gusanos alambre, larvas, en particular larvas blancas (p. ej., Phyllophaga sp., Diloboderus sp., Popillia japonica), termitas (en particular para la caña de azúcar), chinches hediondas subterráneas (p. ej., Scaptocoris sp.), gusanos cortadores (p. ej., agrotis sp.), diplópodos (p. ej., Julus sp.) y barrenador gigante (p. ej., Teichin licus).
