본 발명은 코팅된 절삭 공구(초경합금 삽입체) 특히 저합금강의 단속 절삭용으로 사용 가능한 것에 관한 것이다. 상기 삽입체는 고 W-합금 Co-결합체 층 및 주상 결정을 갖는 TiCxNyOz 최내층 및 미세 결정의 집합 조직으로 된

Claims (6)

  1. 초경합금 본체 및 코팅을 포함하고 저합금 강으로 된 가공용 절삭 삽입체에서,
    상기 초경합금 본체는 5 내지 11 wt% Co, 주기율표 IVb, Vb 또는 VIb족의 금속으로 된 0 내지 10 wt%의 큐빅 카바이드 및 0.76 내지 0.93의 CW 비를 갖는 고 W-합금 접합제 층을 포함하며, 상기 코팅은 - 두께 0.1 내지 2㎛ 및 입경 0.5㎛ 미만의 등축 결정을 갖는 TiCxNyOz 제1층(최내층), - 두께 2 내지 15㎛, 입경 약 5㎛ 미만의 TiCxNyOz 층, - 두께 0.1 내지 2㎛, 입경 0.5㎛ 이하인 등축 또는 침상 결정을 갖는 TiCxNyOz 층, - 두께 2 내지 10㎛, 매끄러운 직조된 미세 결정(0.5 내지 2㎛)으로 된-A1203 층의 외층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 삽입체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,-A1203 층이 (012)-방향의 조직을 가지며 1.3보다 큰 조직 계수 TC(012)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 삽입체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,-A1203 층이 (104)-방향의 조직을 가지며 1.3보다 큰 조직 계수 TC(104)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 삽입체.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,-A1203 층이 (110)-방향의 조직을 가지며 1.3보다 큰 조직 계수 TC(11)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 삽입체.
  5. 상기 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 최외곽 코팅이 0.1 내지 1㎛의 얇은 TiN 층인 것을 특징으로 하는 절삭 공구 삽입체.
  6. 초경합금 본체 및 코팅을 포함하는 절삭 삽입체를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, WC-Co계 초경합금 본체가, - 공지된 CVD법을 사용하여 형성된 것으로, 입경 0.5㎛ 미만의 등축 결정을 가지며, 두께 0.1 내지 2㎛인 TiCxNyOz 제1층(최내층), - 850 내지 900℃의 온도 범위에서 층상을 형성하기 위해 탄소 및 질소 원료로서 아세토니트릴을 사용하여, MTCVD기술에 의해서 부착되는 것으로, 두께 2 내지 15㎛, 입경 약 5㎛미만으로 된 주상 결정을 갖는 TiCxNyOz 층 - 공지된 CVD법을 사용하여 형성된 것으로, 두께 0.1 내지 2㎛, 입경 0.5 이하인 등축 또는 침상 결정을 갖는 TiCxNyOz 층, - 두께 2 내지 10㎛이고, 직조가 (012)-, (104)-, 또는 (110)-방향으로 된 매끄러운 조직으로 된-A1203 층의 외부 층으로 코팅되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
