Claims (13)
- 매트릭스 사태로 배치되고, 표시데이타를 유지하기 위해 보조용량을 구비함과 동시에 이 표시데이타를 표시하는 화소부를 포함하고, 상기 보조용량은 1프레임분의 표시용데이타의 유지율이 99%미만인 화상표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,1프레임동안 상기 표시용데이타의 인접프레임을 각각 기억하는 제1및 제2기억수단, 1프레임맏, 1프레임분의 표시용데이타의 기억선을 상기 제1기억수단과 제2기억수단사이에 절환하는 절환수단, 및 상기 제1및 제2기억수단을 제어하여, 1프레임동안의 표시데이타가 상기 기억수단과 하나에 기억되는 동안, 1프레임동안의 표시데이타가 다른 기억수단에서 상기 화소로 복수회 출력되도록 하는 제어수단을 포함하는 화상표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 화소부는 액티브소자를 포함하고, 이 액티브소자의 캐리어이동도는 적어도 5(cm2/Vsec)인 화상표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1및 제2기억수단은 각각 각 프레임의 적화면표시용데이타, 녹화면표시용데이타, 및 청화면표시용데이타를 기억하는 영역을 갖고, 필드순차주사에 의해 컬러화상을 표시하는 화상표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,1프레임동안 상기 표시용데이타의 인접프레임을 각각 기억하고, 또한 각 프레임의 적화면표시용데이타, 녹화면표시용데이타, 및 청화면표시용데이타를 기억하는 영역을 갖는 제1및 제2기억수단, 1프레임마다, 1프레임분의 표시용데이타의 기억선을 상기 제1기억수단과 제2기억수단사이에 절환하는 절환수단, 및 상기 제1및 제2기억수단을 제어하여, 1프레임동안의 표시데이타가 상기 기억수단의 하나에 기억되는 동안 1프레임기간을 3등분하여 얻어진 각각의 1/3기간내에 소정회수만큼 적화면표시용데이타, 녹화면표시용데이타, 및 청화면표시용데이타를 다른 기억수단에서 상기 화소부로 출력되도록 하는 제어수단을 포함하며, 이에 따라 필드순차주사에 의해 컬러화상을 표시하는 화상표시장치.
- 보조용량을 포함하지 않는 액키브매트릭스형화상표시장치로서, 인접 데이타신호선 및 인접주사신호선으로 둘러싸인 영역에 설치된 화소, 그의 소스가 화소전극에 접속됨과 동시에 그의 게이트에 주사신호가 인가되며, 또한 그의 드레인이 데이타신호선에 접속되어 상기 화소의 스위칭을 행하는 제1액티브소자, 및 드레인과 소스가 상기 화소전극에 접속되고, 또한 게이트에는 상기 주사신호와의 역위상의 신호가 인가되는 제2액티브소자를 포함하며, Ggsl 을 제1액티브소자의 게이트소스간의 기생용량으로 하고, Ggs2를 제2액티브소자의 게이트소스간의 기생용량으로 하며, Cgd2 를 제2액티브소자에 게이트드레인간의 기생용량으로 하면, 상기 제2액티브소자는 Ggs2+Cgd2=Ggsl을 만족하는 사이즈를 갖는 화상표시장치.
- 보조용량을 포함하지 않는 액키브매트릭스형화상표시장치로서, 인접 데이타신호선 및 인접주사선으로 둘러싸인 영역에 설치된 화소, 그의 소스가 화소전극에 접속됨과 동시에 그의 게이트에 주사신호가 인가되고, 또한 그의 드레인이 데이타신호선에 접속되는 제1액티브소자, 소스가 상기 화소전극에 접속됨과 동시에 드레인이 상기 데이타신호선에 접속되고, 또한 상기 게이트에는 상기 주사신호와는 역위상의 신호가 인가되는 제2액티브소자를 포함하며, 상기 제1및 제2액티브소자는 소로 상보형의 관계에 있고, Ggsl 을 제1액티브소자의 게이트소스간의 기생용량으로 하고, Ggs2를 제2액티브소자의 게이트소스간의 기생용량으로 하면, Ggs2=Ggsl을 만족하는 사이즈를 갖는 화상표시장치.
- 복수의 데이타신호선과, 이들 데이타신호선에 대해 교차하는 복수의 주사신호선을 구비함과 동시에 표시용 데이타에 기초하여 화상을 표시하기 위해 각 화소가 인접하는 각 데이타신호선 및 인접하는 각 주사신호선으로 둘러싸인 위치에 각각 배치된 화소어레이로 이루어지는 화상표시장치로서, 상기 화소를 구동하기 위한 스위칭소자로서 각 화소에 배열된 MOS트랜지스터, 상기 데이타신호선 및 주사신호선을 통해 상기 MOS트랜지스터로 표시용데이타에 기초하여 구동신호를 전송하는 구동회로, 및 상기 구동회로에 출력하기 위한 표시용데이타를 1프레임단위로 기억하고, 또한 화소외측에 설치되는 메모리 수단을 포함하며, 상기 MOS트랜지스터, 상기 구동회로 및 상기 메모리수단이 동일기판상에 형성되는 것읖 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 메모리수단은 적어도 2개의 구분메모리수단을 갖고 있고, 새로운 1프레임분의 표시데이타를 상기 구분메모리수단의 하나에 기억하고 다른 구분메모리에 기억된 1프레임분의 표시용데이타의 상기 구동회로로의 독출을 교호로 절환하여 행하는 절환수단, 및 상기 구분메모리수단중 하나에 의한 표시용데이타의 새로운 1프레임을 기억하는 기간동안, 다른 구분메모리수단에 기억된 1프레임분의 표시용데이타의 상기 구동회로로의 독출을 2회이상 행함으로써 동일 표시용데이타를 동일화소에 2회이상 반복하여 서입하는 반복서입수단을 포함하는 화상표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 메모리수단은 DRAM구성, SRAM구성, 또는 EEPROM구성을 갖는 화상표시장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 메모리수단은 DRAM구성, SRAM구성, 또는 EEPROM구성을 갖는 화상표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 MOS트랜지스터와 상기 구동회로 및 메모리수단을 구성하는 각 소자는 다결정실리콘박막을 반도체층으로 하여 이루어지는 화상표시장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 기판은 상기 MOS트랜지스터 및 상기 구동회로와 메모리수단을 구성하는 각 소자는 600℃이하의 프로세스온도에서 형성되는 전기절연성을 갖는 유리기판으로 구성되는 화상표시장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
