Claims (3)

  1. 2 또는 그 이상의 액정성분을 갖는 액정 유전체에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 액정성분이 하기구조식(Ⅰ)의 시클로헥실비페닐 유도체인 것을 특징으로하는 액정유전체 :
    상기식에서, R1은 탄소수 1-12인 알칼이며, R2-R5는 수소 또는 불소이고, R6는 탄소수 1-12인 알킬 또는 알콕시, CN 또는 불소이다 [단, 라디칼 R2, R3, R4, R5및 R6중 적어도 하나(그러나 그 이하)가 불소임]
  2. 액정 쎌을 기준으로 전자-광학적 프시소자에 있어서, 청구범위에 따른 액정 유전체를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자-광학적 표시소자.
  3. 하기구조식(Ⅰ)의시클로헥실비페닐 유도체의 제조방법에 있어서,
    (a) 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-4'-니트로페닐을 생성하기 위해서 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-비페닐을 니트로화한 후 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-4'-아미노비페닐로 환원한 다음 쉬만-발즈 반응에 따라 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-4'-플로오로비페닐로 전환시켜 하기 구조식(Ⅰa)화합물을 제조하거나,
    (b) 하기 구조식(Ⅰh)의 화합물을 모노-또는 디-니트로화하고, 분별 결정화 또는 크로마토그래피 방법에 의한 반응혼합물로 부터 바람직한 모노-또는 디-니트로-유도체를 분리한후 관련 모노-또는 디-아미노비페닐로 환원한다음 쉬만-발즈반응에 따라 모노-또는 디플루오로비페닐유도체로 전환시켜하기 구조식(g)를 제조하거나,
    (c) 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-4'-아미노비페닐을 아씰화한 다음 니트로화하여 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-3'-니트로-4'-아실아미도비페닐을 생성하고, 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-3', 4'-디아미노비페분로환원 및 가수분해한다음 쉬만-발즈 반응에 의해 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-3', 4'-디플루오로 버페닐로 전환시켜 하기 구조식(Ⅰc)의 화합물을 제조하거나, 또는
    (d) 4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-4'-아실아미도비페닐을 모노-또는 디니트로화하고, 분별 결정화 또는 크로마토그라피방법에 의해 반응 혼합물로부터 바람직한 모노-또는 디니트로 유도체를 분리한후 관련 모노-또는 디아미노-4(트랜스-4-알킬시클로 헥실)-4'-아실아미노비페닐로 환원한 다음 쉬만-발즈 반응에 따라관련 모노-또는 디플루오로-4-(트랜스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-4'-아실아미노비페닐로 전환시키고, 모노-또는 디플루오로-4-(트렌스-4-알킬시클로헥실)-4'-아미노비페닐로 가수분해한 다음 샌드메이어(Sandmeyer) 반응에 의해 4'-시아노비페닐 유도체로 전환시켜 하기 구조식(Ⅰi)의 화합물을 제조하는 것을 특징으로하는 하기 구조식(Ⅰ)의 시클로헥실비페닐 유도체를 제조하는 방법 :
    상기식에서,
    R1은 탄소수 1-12인 알킬이며,
    R2-R5는 수소 또는 불소이고,
    R6는 탄소수 1-12인 알킬 또는 알콕시, CN 또는 불소이다.
    [단, 라디칼 R2, R3, R4, R5및 R6중 적어도 하나(그러나 2 이하)가 불소임].
    상기(Ⅰg)식에서,
    R6는 탄소수 1-12인 알킬 또는 알콕시이다.
