- λ/4판과, 반사 편광자를 갖는 휘도 향상 필름이고,
상기 휘도 향상 필름은 액정 표시 장치의 백라이트와 백라이트측 편광자와의 사이에 마련되기 위한 것이며,
상기 반사 편광자가, 적어도 2층의 광반사층을 포함하고,
상기 적어도 2층의 광반사층이 모두 콜레스테릭 액정상을 고정하여 이루어지는 광반사층이며,
상기 적어도 2층의 광반사층 중, 적어도 1층의 광반사층의 콜레스테릭 액정 재료가 봉상 액정 화합물이며, 다른 적어도 1층의 광반사층의 콜레스테릭 액정 재료가 원반상 액정 화합물인 휘도 향상 필름. - 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 λ/4판 및 상기 반사 편광자가, 직접 접촉하거나, 또는, 접착층을 통하여 적층되어 있는, 휘도 향상 필름. - 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 따른 휘도 향상 필름과, 편광자를 포함하는 편광판을 갖고,
상기 λ/4판의 지상축과 상기 편광자의 흡수축이 이루는 각이 30~60°이며,

430~480nm의 파장 대역에 발광 중심 파장을 갖는 청색광과,
