Description
Claims (16)
- 기판 상에 설치된 복수의 화소전극;상기 화소전극을 구동하기 위한 배선 및 전자소자 중 적어도 일방;상기 복수의 화소전극이 위치하는 화상 표시 영역;상기 복수의 화소전극이 위치하고, 상기 화상 표시 영역의 주변에 프레임 형상으로 위치하는 더미 영역; 및상기 기판 상에 상기 더미 화소전극으로서 기능하는 화소전극에서의 개구영역의 적어도 일부를 덮는 더미 화소 차광막을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 화소 차광막은 상기 더미 영역에 아일랜드형상으로 분단되어 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 화소 차광막은 상기 더미 영역 전체에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 화소 차광막은 상기 더미 영역에 스트라이프형상으로 분단되어 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 화소 차광막에는 슬릿이 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 화소 차광막은 상기 기판의 평탄한 표면 상에 직접 또는 평탄한 층간절연막을 통해 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 화소 차광막은 상기 배선 또는 전자소자 중 적어도 일방의 하층측에 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 배선 및 전자소자 중 적어도 일방은, 상기 화소전극을 스위칭 제어하는 박막 트랜지스터 및 상기 박막 트랜지스터에 접속된 주사선 및 데이터선을 포함하고,상기 기판 상에 상기 박막 트랜지스터의 적어도 채널 영역을 하층측에서부터 덮는 하측 차광막을 더 구비하고,상기 더미 화소 차광막은 상기 하측 차광막과 동일 막으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 하측 차광막은 상기 주사선의 적어도 일부를 겸하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 기판 상에 상기 화소전극에 축적 용량을 부여하기 위한 용량선을 더 구비하고,상기 더미 화소 차광막과 상기 용량선은 동일 도전막으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기판 상에,상기 데이터선에 화상신호를 공급하는 화상신호 공급회로; 및상기 주사선에 주사신호를 공급하기 위한 주사신호 공급회로를 더 구비하고,상기 화상신호 공급회로 및 상기 주사신호 공급회로 중 적어도 일방은, 단부로부터 최초로 출력되는 신호를 상기 박막 트랜지스터에 접속되어 있지 않은 더미의 데이터선 또는 주사선에 대해 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 화소 차광막은 고정 전위원 또는 고정 전위 배선에 접속되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 더미 화소 차광막은 부유 전위로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 복수의 화소전극에 화상신호를 공급하는 화상신호 공급수단을 더 구비하고,상기 화상신호 공급수단은 상기 더미 화소전극으로서 기능하는 화소전극에 대해 중간조의 화상신호를 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기판과의 사이에 전기 광학 물질을 협지하도록 상기 기판에 대향배치된 대향기판; 및상기 대향기판 상의 상기 더미 영역에 대향하는 영역에 프레임 차광막을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 장치.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 15 항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 전기 광학 장치를 구비하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자기기.
