Claims (10)
- 어레이 기판과 컬러 필터 기판이 액정층을 개재하여 마주하고, 터치 센싱 기능을 구비하는 액정 표시 장치로서,
상기 컬러 필터 기판은,
투명 기판과,
터치 센싱을 위해 상기 투명 기판의 제1 평면에 형성된 제1 투명 전극층과,
상기 터치 센싱을 위해 상기 투명 기판의 제2 평면에 형성된 제2 투명 전극층과,
상기 제1 투명 전극층 위에 형성되고, 적색 필터와 녹색 필터와 청색 필터를 포함하는 컬러 필터와,
상기 컬러 필터 위에 형성된 투명 수지층을 구비하고, 상기 제2 투명 전극층측이 표시면측에 배치되고, 상기 투명 수지층측이 상기 액정층측에 배치되고, 상기 컬러 필터와 상기 투명 수지층의 합계 막 두께가 약 2.5㎛ 내지 9㎛의 범위 내이며,
상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터의 각각에 대하여, 액정을 구동하는 주파수에서 측정된 비유전율은, 약 2.9 이상 4.4 이하이고,
상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터 각각에 관한 상기 비유전율은, 상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터의 평균 유전율의 ±0.3의 범위 내이고,
상기 액정층은,
초기 배향이 기판 평면에 평행하며, 액정 구동 전압 인가 시에 상기 기판 평면에 평행하게 회전하고, 부(negative)의 유전율 이방성을 갖는 액정 분자를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는
액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 컬러 필터와 상기 투명 수지층의 합계 막 두께가 약 2.5㎛ 내지 4.5㎛의 범위 내인 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 투명 전극층의 패턴과 상기 제2 투명 전극층의 패턴은, 평면에서 보았을 때, 직교하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 투명 전극층의 패턴과 상기 제2 투명 전극층의 패턴은, 평면에서 보았을 때, 간극 없이 엇갈리게 배치되는, 액정 표시 장치. - 어레이 기판과 액정층을 개재하여 대향하는 컬러 필터 기판으로서,
투명 기판과,
터치 센싱을 위해 상기 투명 기판의 제1 평면에 형성된 제1 투명 전극층과,
상기 터치 센싱을 위해 상기 투명 기판의 제2 평면에 형성된 제2 투명 전극층과,
상기 제1 투명 전극층 위에 형성되고, 적색 필터와 녹색 필터와 청색 필터를 포함하는 컬러 필터와,
상기 컬러 필터 위에 형성된 투명 수지층
을 구비하고,
상기 제2 투명 전극층측이 표시면측에 배치되고, 상기 투명 수지층측이 상기 액정층측에 배치되고,
상기 컬러 필터와 상기 투명 수지층의 합계 막 두께가 약 2.5㎛ 내지 9㎛의 범위 내이며,
상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터의 각각에 대하여, 액정을 구동하는 주파수에서 측정된 비유전율은, 약 2.9 이상 4.4 이하이고,
상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터 각각에 관한 상기 비유전율은, 상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터의 평균 유전율의 ±0.3의 범위 내인 것을 특징으로 하는
컬러 필터 기판. - 제5항에 있어서,
가시 영역 차광성 색재(color material)의 주재(principal component)로서 유기 안료를 포함하는 차광층을, 유효 표시 영역에서의 상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터의 각각의 일부 위에 구비하는, 컬러 필터 기판. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터는, 서로 다른 색과 간극 없이 인접하는 선 형상의 패턴이며,
상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터 중 제1 컬러 필터는, 상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터 중 제2 컬러 필터와 제3 컬러 필터를 구분하도록 배치되고,
상기 제1 컬러 필터의 선 폭은, 상기 제2 및 상기 제3 컬러 필터의 선 폭의 거의 1/2인 것을 특징으로 하는, 컬러 필터 기판. - 제5항에 있어서,
유효 표시 영역에, 상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터를 구비하고,
상기 유효 표시 영역을 둘러싸는 프레임 영역에, 차광층을 구비하고,
상기 유효 표시 영역에서의 상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터의 각각과 상기 투명 수지층의 합계 막 두께는, 상기 유효 표시 영역에서의 상기 차광층과 상기 투명 수지층의 합계 막 두께와 거의 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는, 컬러 필터 기판. - 제5항에 있어서,
유효 표시 영역에, 상기 적색 필터와 상기 녹색 필터와 상기 청색 필터를 구비하고,
상기 유효 표시 영역을 둘러싸는 프레임 영역에, 가시 영역 차광성 색재의 주재로서 카본을 포함하는 제1 차광층과, 가시 영역 차광성 색재의 주재로서 유기 안료를 포함하는 제2 차광층을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 컬러 필터 기판. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 제1 투명 전극층 위이며, 유효 표시 영역 내에, 가시 영역 차광성 색재의 주재로서 카본을 포함하며, 격자 형상 또는 스트라이프 형상의 차광층을 형성하고,
상기 차광층이 형성된 상기 제1 투명 전극층 위에 상기 컬러 필터를 형성하고,
상기 차광층과 상기 컬러 필터와 상기 투명 수지층의 합계 막 두께는, 약 2.5㎛ 내지 9㎛의 범위 내인 것을 특징으로 하는, 컬러 필터 기판.
