Claims (16)
- 평면에서 볼 때 서로 평행한 적어도 2개의 측변부를 갖는 복수의 다각형 화소를 형성하고, 상기 복수의 다각형 화소의 각각에는, 상기 복수의 다각형 화소의 각각을 세로 방향으로 2분하는 화소 중앙선에 대하여 선 대칭으로 배치되는 2개의 화소 전극과 2개의 액정 구동 소자를 구비하는 어레이 기판과,
상기 어레이 기판과 마주하는 액정층과,
제1 투명 기판과, 상기 제1 투명 기판의 위에 형성되어 평면에서 볼 때 상기 복수의 다각형 화소에 대응하는 복수의 개구부를 형성함과 함께 상기 측변부에 위치하는 제1 차광층과, 상기 제1 차광층이 형성된 상기 제1 투명 기판의 위에 형성된 투명 수지층과, 상기 투명 수지층의 위에 형성된 제2 차광층을 갖고, 상기 액정 층을 개재하여 상기 어레이 기판과 마주하고, 관찰자측의 표면이 표시면이 되는 대향 기판과,
상기 어레이 기판에 대하여 상기 액정층과 반대측에 배치된 백라이트 유닛과,
상기 백라이트 유닛으로부터 출사되는 광의 각도를 관찰자의 양안과 상기 표시면과의 거리에 대응하여 제어하는 각도 제어부와,
상기 표시면으로부터 출사되는 출사광의 출사각을 조정하는 광 제어 소자를 구비하고,
상기 제1 차광층에 포함되는 제1 선 형상 패턴의 연장 방향으로 연장되는 중심선과, 상기 제2 차광층에 포함되는 제2 선 형상 패턴의 연장 방향으로 연장되는 중심선은, 상기 측변부에 있어서 평면에서 볼 때 겹치고,
상기 제1 선 형상 패턴의 선 폭과 상기 제2 선 형상 패턴의 선 폭은 서로 다른, 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 어레이 기판은,
제2 투명 기판과,
상기 제2 투명 기판의 위에 형성되고, 상기 화소 중앙선에 대하여 선 대칭으로 배치되는 복수의 공통 전극과,
상기 복수의 공통 전극을 덮는 절연층을 구비하고,
상기 2개의 화소 전극은, 상기 절연층의 위에 형성되고,
상기 공통 전극은, 평면에서 볼 때, 상기 측변부의 외측(外)을 향해 상기 2개의 화소 전극보다도 비어져나와 있는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 백라이트 유닛은, 에지 라이트형 백라이트 유닛이며,
상기 액정층의 액정 분자를 구동하기 위해서, 상기 2개의 화소 전극에 전압을 인가하는 타이밍과 상기 백라이트 유닛의 발광 타이밍을 동기시켜서 상기 2개의 화소 전극 및 상기 백라이트 유닛을 제어하는 발광 처리부를 더 구비하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 평면에서 볼 때 서로 평행한 적어도 2개의 측변부를 갖는 복수의 다각형 화소를 형성하고, 상기 복수의 다각형 화소의 각각에는, 상기 복수의 다각형 화소의 각각을 세로 방향으로 2분하는 화소 중앙선에 대하여 선 대칭으로 배치되는 2개의 화소 전극과 2개의 액정 구동 소자를 구비하는 어레이 기판과,
상기 어레이 기판과 마주하는 액정층과,
제1 투명 기판과, 상기 제1 투명 기판의 위에 형성되어 평면에서 볼 때 상기 복수의 다각형 화소에 대응하는 복수의 개구부를 형성함과 함께 상기 측변부에 위치하는 제1 차광층과, 상기 제1 차광층이 형성된 상기 제1 투명 기판의 위에 형성된 투명 수지층과, 상기 투명 수지층의 위에 형성된 제2 차광층을 갖고, 상기 액정 층을 개재하여 상기 어레이 기판과 마주하고, 관찰자측의 표면이 표시면이 되는 대향 기판과,
상기 어레이 기판에 대하여 상기 액정층과 반대측에 배치된 백라이트 유닛을 구비하고,
상기 제1 차광층에 포함되는 제1 선 형상 패턴의 연장 방향으로 연장되는 중심선과, 상기 제2 차광층에 포함되는 제2 선 형상 패턴의 연장 방향으로 연장되는 중심선은, 상기 측변부에 있어서 평면에서 볼 때 겹치고,
상기 제1 선 형상 패턴의 선 폭과 상기 제2 선 형상 패턴의 선 폭은 서로 다르고,
상기 백라이트 유닛은, 가시광을 발광하는 제1 고체 발광 소자와, 적외광을 발광하는 제2 고체 발광 소자를 구비하고,
상기 어레이 기판은,
가시광 검출에 사용되는 제1 광 센서와,
적외광 검출에 사용되는 제2 광 센서를 구비하고,
상기 제2 고체 발광 소자의 발광 타이밍과 상기 제2 광 센서의 검출 타이밍을 동기시켜서 상기 제2 고체 발광 소자 및 상기 제2 광 센서를 제어하고, 상기 제2 광 센서의 검출 데이터에 기초하여, 상기 제1 고체 발광 소자로부터 출사되는 광의 각도를 변경하는 검출 처리부를 더 구비하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 제2 광 센서는 실리콘 포토다이오드인, 액정 표시 장치. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 대향 기판에 있어서의 상기 복수의 개구부의 각각에 대하여, 적색 필터, 녹색 필터 및 청색 필터 중 어느 하나가 배치되어 있는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제6항에 있어서,
상기 제2 차광층은, 광파장 680㎚ 이하의 광파장영역의 투과율보다 광파장 680㎚를 초과하는 광파장영역의 투과율쪽이 높은 투과율 특성, 또는 광파장 800㎚ 이하의 광파장영역의 투과율보다 광파장 800㎚를 초과하는 광파장영역의 투과율쪽이 높은 투과율 특성을 갖고,
상기 대향 기판은, 평면에서 볼 때, 상기 제2 차광층과, 상기 적색 필터, 상기 녹색 필터 및 상기 청색 필터 중 어느 하나와의 겹치는 부분을 구비하고,
상기 제2 광 센서는, 입사한 광을, 상기 겹치는 부분을 경유하여 검출하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 제2 차광층은, 적어도 C. I. Pigment Violet 23을 포함하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 백라이트 유닛은, 고체 발광 소자를 구비하고,
상기 각도 제어부는, 상기 고체 발광 소자의 자세를 변경하는 피에조 소자를 구비하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 광 제어 소자는,
상기 세로 방향으로 연장되는 반원 기둥 형상 렌즈와,
상기 세로 방향으로 연장되는 삼각 기둥 형상 렌즈를 구비하는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 액정 구동 소자는, 갈륨, 인듐, 아연, 주석, 하프늄, 이트늄, 게르마늄 중 2종 이상의 금속 산화물을 포함하는 채널층을 구비하는 박막 트랜지스터이며, 상기 2개의 화소 전극과 전기적으로 접속되는, 액정 표시 장치. - 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 액정층의 액정 분자는, 부의 유전율 이방성을 갖고, 초기 배향이 상기 어레이 기판 및 상기 대향 기판의 기판면에 대하여 수직인, 액정 표시 장치. - 평면에서 볼 때 서로 평행한 적어도 2개의 측변부를 갖는 복수의 다각형 화소가 형성된 액정 표시 장치에 있어서, 관찰자측의 표시면을 구성하는 기판으로서 이용되는 액정 표시 장치용 기판으로서,
투명 기판과,
상기 투명 기판의 위에 형성되고, 평면에서 볼 때 상기 복수의 다각형 화소에 대응하는 복수의 개구부를 형성함과 함께 상기 측변부에 위치하는 제1 차광층과,
상기 제1 차광층이 형성된 상기 투명 기판의 위에 형성된 투명 수지층과,
상기 투명 수지층의 위에 형성된 제2 차광층을 구비하고,
상기 다각형 화소는, 평면에서 볼 때 적어도 2개의 변이 평행한 다각형이며,
상기 제1 차광층에 포함되는 제1 선 형상 패턴의 연장 방향으로 연장되는 중심선과, 상기 제2 차광층에 포함되는 제2 선 형상 패턴의 연장 방향으로 연장되는 중심선은, 상기 측변부에 있어서 평면에서 볼 때 겹치고,
상기 제1 선 형상 패턴의 선 폭과 상기 제2 선 형상 패턴의 선 폭은, 서로 다르며,
상기 제1 차광층은, 차광성 색재의 주재로서 카본을 포함하는 카본 차광층이고,
상기 제2 차광층은, 차광성 색재의 주재로서 복수의 유기 안료를 포함하는 유기 안료 차광층인, 액정 표시 장치용 기판. - 제13항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 개구부의 각각에 대하여, 적색 필터, 녹색 필터 및 청색 필터 중 어느 하나가 배치되어 있는, 액정 표시 장치용 기판. - 제14항에 있어서,
평면에서 볼 때, 상기 제2 차광층과, 상기 적색 필터, 상기 녹색 필터 및 상기 청색 필터 중 어느 하나와의 겹치는 부분을 구비하는, 액정 표시 장치용 기판. - 제15항에 있어서,
