Abstract
Description
Claims (16)
- 일체식 기체(monolithic substrate);제올라이트를 함유하고, 상기 일체식 기체 상에 형성된, 탄화수소(HC)를 흡착하는 HC 흡착층(HC adsorbing layer);탄화수소 및 일산화탄소(CO) 중 1 이상으로부터 수소(H2)를 생성하고, 생성된 수소, 및 배기가스 중의 탄화수소 및 일산화탄소 중 1 이상으로 질소 산화물 (NOX)를 환원하는 작용을 하고, 상기 HC 흡착층 상에 형성되고, 탄화수소를 개질하여 수소를 생성하는 작용을 하는 HC 개질 촉매 성분 및 일산화탄소를 증기 개질하는 기능을 하는 CO 개질 촉매 성분 중 1 이상을 함유하는, 수소(H2)를 생성하고 NOX를 환원하는 촉매층(catalytic layer); 및배기가스의 흐름 방향에 대하여 상기 HC 개질 촉매 성분 및 상기 CO 개질 촉매 성분 중 1 이상의 상류에 위치하는 상기 배기가스 정화 촉매의 상류 부분에 형성되고, 팔라듐을 수반하는 알루미나를 함유하는 상류층(upstream layer)을 포함하는 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 배기가스 정화 촉매가 내연기관으로부터 배출된 배기가스를 정화하기 위한 것이고, 상기 HC 흡착층이 제올라이트를 함유하고, 엔진의 냉각 작동 동안에 탄화수소를 흡착하고, 엔진의 가온 작동 동안에 흡착한 탄화수소를 방출하는 작용을 하고, 상기 촉매층이 상기 HC 흡착층으로부터 방출된 탄화수소로부터 및 가온 작동 후 엔진으로부터 배출된 탄화수소 및 일산화탄소 중 1 이상으로부터 수소를 생성하고, 생성된 수소, 및 배기가스 중의 탄화수소 및 일산화탄소 중 1 이상으로 NOX를 환원하는 작용을 하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 촉매층이 수소를 생성하는 작용을 하는 H2생성 촉매 성분, 및 질소 산화물을 환원시키는 작용을 하는 NOX환원 촉매 성분을 함유하고, 상기 H2생성 촉매 성분이 상기 HC 흡착층 상에 배치되고, 수소를 생성하도록 탄화수소를 개질하는 작용을 하는 HC 개질 촉매 성분 및 일산화탄소를 증기 개질시키는 작용을 하는 CO 개질 촉매 성분을 포함하고, 상기 HC 개질 촉매 성분이 팔라듐을 수반하는 세륨 산화물을 함유하고, 상기 CO 개질 촉매 성분이 로듐을 수반하는 지르코늄 산화물을 함유하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 삭제
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 로듐을 수반하는 지르코늄 산화물이 알칼리 토금속을 함유하고 하기 화학식 (A)에 의해 나타내어지는 조성을 갖는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.[X]aZrbOc...(A)(여기서, X는 마그네슘, 칼슘, 스트론튬 및 바륨으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 알칼리 토금속이고, a 및 b는 성분 원자의 비이며, c는 X 및 Zr의 원자가를 만족시키는데 필요한 산소 원자의 수이고, 여기서 a는 0.01 내지 0.5의 범위 내에 있고, b는 0.5 내지 0.99의 범위 내에 있고, a+b=1.0이다.)
- 제4항에 있어서, 질소 산화물을 환원시키는 작용을 하는 NOX환원 촉매 성분이 상기 HC 흡착층, 상기 HC 개질층, 상기 CO 개질층 및 팔라듐을 수반하는 알루미나를 함유하는 상기 상류층 중 1 이상에 함유된 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제4항에 있어서, 질소 산화물을 환원시키는 작용을 하는 NOX환원 촉매 성분이 상기 HC 흡착층, 상기 HC 개질층, 상기 CO 개질층 및 팔라듐을 수반하는 알루미나를 함유하는 상기 상류층 중 1 이상에 함유되고, 상기 NOX환원 촉매 성분이 팔라듐, 백금, 로듐, 알루미나, 알칼리 금속 및 알칼리 토금속으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1 이상을 함유하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제올라이트가 10 내지 500 범위의 Si/2Al 비율을 갖는 H-형 β-제올라이트를 함유하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제올라이트가 H-형 β-제올라이트, 및 MFI, Y-형 제올라이트, USY-형 제올라이트 및 모오데나이트 중 1 이상을 함유하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제올라이트가 팔라듐, 마그네슘, 칼슘, 스트론튬, 바륨, 은, 이트륨, 란탄, 세륨, 네오디뮴, 인, 붕소 및 지르코늄으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1 이상을 함유하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제4항에 있어서, 질소 산화물을 환원하는 작용을 하는 NOX환원 촉매 성분이 상기 HC 흡착층, 상기 HC 개질층, 상기 CO 개질층 및 팔라듐을 수반하는 알루미나를 함유하는 상기 상류층 중 1 이상에 함유되고, 상기 NOX환원 촉매 성분이 알칼리 금속 및 알칼리 토금속으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1 이상을 함유하고, 상기 NOX환원 촉매 성분이 칼륨, 세슘, 마그네슘, 칼슘 및 바륨으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 1 이상을 함유하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 HC 개질 촉매 성분 및 상기 CO 개질 촉매가 혼합되어상기 일체식 기체 상의 상기 HC 흡착층 상에 배치된 단일층을 형성하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 HC 개질 촉매 성분이 상기 일체식 기체 상에 배치된 제1층을 형성하고, 상기 CO 개질 촉매가 상기 제1층 상에 형성된 제2층을 형성하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 HC 개질 촉매 성분이 상기 일체식 기체 상에 배치된 제1층을 형성하고, 상기 CO 개질 촉매 성분이 배기가스의 흐름 방향에 대하여 상기 제1층의 하류에 형성된 제2층을 형성하는 것인 배기가스 정화 촉매.
- 일체식 기체,상기 일체식 기체 상에 형성된, 탄화수소(HC)를 흡착하는 HC 흡착층,탄화수소 및 일산화탄소(CO) 중 1 이상으로부터 수소(H2)를 생성하고, 생성된 수소, 및 배기가스 중의 탄화수소 및 일산화탄소 중 1 이상으로 질소 산화물 (NOX)를 환원하는 작용을 하고, 상기 HC 흡착층 상에 형성되고, 탄화수소를 개질하여 수소를 생성하는 작용을 하는 HC 개질 촉매 성분 및 일산화탄소를 증기 개질하는 기능을 하는 CO 개질 촉매 성분 중 1 이상을 함유하는, 수소(H2)를 생성하고 NOX를 환원하는 촉매층, 및배기가스의 흐름 방향에 대하여 상기 HC 개질 촉매 성분 및 상기 CO 개질 촉매 성분 중 1 이상의 상류에 위치하는 상기 배기가스 정화 촉매의 상류 부분에 형성되고, 팔라듐을 수반하는 알루미나를 함유하는 상류층을 포함하는 배기가스 정화 촉매; 및[(수소의 농도/총 환원 성분의 농도) ≥0.3]의 관계를 충족하는 조성을 갖는, 상기 촉매층과 접촉하게 되는 배기가스를 생성하도록 엔진에서의 연소를 조절하는 장치를 포함하는 내연기관용 배기가스 정화 시스템.
- 일체식 기체를 제조하는 단계,탄화수소(HC)를 흡착하는 HC 흡착층을 상기 일체식 기체 상에 형성하는 단계,탄화수소 및 일산화탄소(CO) 중 1 이상으로부터 수소(H2)를 생성하고, 생성된 수소, 및 배기가스 중의 탄화수소 및 일산화탄소 중 1 이상으로 질소 산화물(NOX)을 환원하는 작용을 하고, 탄화수소를 개질하여 수소를 생성하는 작용을 하는 HC 개질 촉매 성분 및 일산화탄소를 증기 개질하는 기능을 하는 CO 개질 촉매 성분 중 1 이상을 함유하는, 수소(H2)를 생성하고 NOX를 환원하는 촉매층을 상기 HC 흡착층 상에 형성하는 단계; 및배기가스의 흐름 방향에 대하여 상기 HC 개질 촉매 성분 및 상기 CO 개질 촉매 성분 중 1 이상의 상류에 위치하는 상기 배기가스 정화 촉매의 상류 부분에 형성되고, 팔라듐을 수반하는 알루미나를 함유하는 상류층을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는, 배기가스 정화 촉매의 제조 방법.
