Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve the temperature control of cooling system with a given pressure, by changing the revolving speed of pump while adjusting the cooling liquid pressure with a suitable step so that it can not be lowered than the specified value and converging the temperature to a given temperature.
CONSTITUTION: If the load of the cooled body 1 or the temperature of the secondary cooling water 4 is lowered than the designed value, the inlet pressure of the primary cooling water 2 to the cooled body 1 is kept at almost constant so that it can not be lowered than the specified value, and the regulation of the inlet temperature is made by the flow rate of the primary cooling water pump 3 to minimize the load of the pump 3 at all times. In this case, the pressure and temperature are detected at the detectors 7, 8, and they are compared and processed with the set signal at the controller 9, and the opening of the automatic pressure regulating valve 10 and the revolving speed of the primary cooling water pump 3 are automatically controlled with the thyristor inverter.
