Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to correctly adjust the degree of vacuum in the condenser by a method wherein the temperature of circulating water in the cooling cycle of the condenser is kept constant and, after that, the flow rate of circulating water flowing back to the condenser is kept constant in accordance with the load of the condenser. CONSTITUTION:A circulating water flow rate controlling valve 6 is controlled in accordance with the load of the condenser inputted in a function generator 18. The load of a generator do well as the parameter to be inputted in the function generator 18. The direct adjustment of opening degree of a controlling valve 6 by means of the output of the function generator 18 do well. The resultant signal, which is produced after the comparison of the output of the function generator 18 with the output of a circulating water flow rate transmitter 19 and, after that, outputted through a PI controller 20 to the controlling valve 6, do well also. Accordingly, after the temperature of the circulating water in the cooling cycle of the condenser 2 is kept constant, the flow rate of the circulating water is kept constant in accordance with the load of the condenser 2, resulting in enabling to correctly adjust the degree of vacuum in the condenser 2.
