Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to hold the degree of vacuum in the condenser constant by a method wherein the flow rate of circulating water for cooling is automatically changed by changing the rotational frequency of a circulating water pump at the adjusting device of degree of vacuum in the condenser equpipped in a power plant.
CONSTITUTION: An output 15 is outputted by comparing and calculating the signal detected by a condenser inner pressure detector 12 with the signal of a pressure setter 14 at an indicating controller 13. On the other hand, limiting signals, which are respectively formed at an upper bound function generator 20 and at a lower bound function generator 21 inputted with the signal of an output detector 19 of a turbine, are inputted in an upper bound limiter 16 and a lower bound limiter 17. The compared and calculated output 15 is past through said limiters 16 and 18 and turned to be the signal 18 which is inputted in an adjusting device of rotational frequency of the circulating water pump in order to change the rotational frequency of the pump. The change of the rotational frequency of the pump causes the change of the flow rate of the circulating water, resulting in holding the degree of vacuum in the condenser.
