Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the production of reflected light from coupling part which gives adverse influence upon laser oscillator by providing an antireflection glass plate, reflection-inhibiting plate, etc. to the incident end of the optical fiber of single mode.
CONSTITUTION: Laser light from a laser diode 11 is condensed at one point of the incident face of a single mode type optical fiber 34 by a rod lens 14. In this case, the laser light enters a fiber 34 of a minute diameter through the lens 14 which is coated with a non-reflecting film at its both ends, the reflection-inhibiting plate 31 of non-reflection material provided with light-pass hole and the antireflection glass plate 32 which is bonded and fixed by the optical matching material of the same refractive index as that of the fiber 34 by which the production of reflected light is obviated and the unstability of the laser oscillator, etc. that may be caused by the reflected light is prevented.
