Claims (8)
- 複数の空孔を有する多孔質体からなり、軸が挿入される軸受孔を有する焼結含油軸受であって、
前記軸受孔の内周面に形成され、独立した島状に分散して配置された複数の凹状の給油面と、
前記軸受孔の前記内周面に前記給油面の周囲に連続して形成され、前記軸の外周面を支持する内径Diの摺動面と、を有し、
前記摺動面と前記給油面との最大高低差が前記内径Diの0.01%以上0.5%以下とされ、
前記摺動面は前記空孔の表面開口率が0%以上10%以下の緻密層で形成され、前記給油面における前記空孔の表面開口率が10%を超え40%未満であり、
前記給油面は球帽状に凹ませた部分の中央部分に形成され、その凹ませた部分の外縁部には前記緻密層が臨ませられていて、
さらに前記給油面は、一つの面積が0.03(mm2)以上、かつ0.2×Di2(mm2)以下であることを特徴とする焼結含油軸受。 - 前記軸受孔の前記内周面全体の面積に対する前記摺動面の面積の比率が0.4以上0.98以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の焼結含油軸受。
- 前記軸受の前記摺動面に開口する前記空孔の平均開口サイズが0μm以上20μm未満であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の焼結含油軸受。
- 前記給油面は、前記軸受孔の長さ方向の中央部よりも両端部に多く分布して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の焼結含油軸受。
- 前記給油面は、前記軸受孔の長さ方向の両端部よりも中央部に多く分布して設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の焼結含油軸受。
- 成形用金型の成形用ダイプレートと成形用コアロッドとの間の筒状空間に原料粉末を充填して加圧することにより筒状の圧粉体を成形する圧粉体成形工程と、
前記圧粉体を焼結して焼結体を形成する焼結工程と、
矯正用金型の矯正用ダイプレートと矯正用コアロッドとの間の筒状空間に前記焼結体を押し込み加圧することにより前記焼結体を寸法矯正し、軸受孔を形成する矯正工程と
を有し、
前記圧粉体成形工程において、前記成形用コアロッドの外周面の少なくとも一部に他の部分よりも径方向外方に突出する複数の突出部を形成しておき、前記圧粉体の内周面に、独立した島状に分散させて配置した複数の凹部と、前記凹部に隣接して連続する凸部とを成形し、
前記焼結工程では、前記圧粉体を焼結することにより、前記凹部を表面開口率が10%を超える給油面に形成し、
前記矯正工程では、前記矯正用コアロッドの外周面を前記焼結体の前記凸部の内径よりも大きく、かつ前記凹部の内径よりも小さな外径で形成しておき、前記矯正用コアロッドの前記外周面により、前記凸部を径方向外方に圧縮して表面開口率が0%以上10%以下の緻密層として摺動面を形成するとともに、前記給油面と前記摺動面との最大高低差を前記摺動面の内径の0.01%以上0.5%以下に形成し、さらに前記凹部を球帽状に凹ませた部分としてその中央部分を前記給油面で形成し、かつ前記凹ませた部分の外縁部を前記緻密層で形成して、前記給油面の一つの面積を0.03(mm2)以上かつ前記軸受孔の内径Diに対し0.2×Di2(mm2)以下とすることを特徴とする焼結含油軸受の製造方法。 - 請求項6に記載の焼結含油軸受の製造方法であって、前記成形用コアロッドの前記外周面と前記突出部との最大高低差が、前記成形用コアロッドの前記外周面の外径の0.1%以上1.0%以下であることを特徴とする焼結含油軸受の製造方法。
- 請求項6または7に記載の焼結含油軸受の製造方法であって、
前記焼結体において前記凸部と前記凹部との最大高低差が前記凸部の内径の0.1%以上1.0%以下となるように、前記圧粉体の寸法を設定しておく
ことを特徴とする焼結含油軸受の製造方法。
