Claims (4)
- 焼結金属からなる筒状の内層及び外層を有し、前記内層の内周面にラジアル動圧発生部が型成形された焼結軸受であって、
前記内層を銅鉄系の焼結金属で構成し、前記外層を鉄系の焼結金属で構成することにより、前記外層の圧縮耐力を前記内層の圧縮耐力よりも大きくしたことを特徴とする焼結軸受。 - 前記外層の半径方向寸法が、前記内層の半径方向寸法よりも大きい請求項1に記載の焼結軸受。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の焼結軸受と、前記焼結軸受の内周に挿入された軸部材とを備え、前記焼結軸受の内周面と前記軸部材の外周面との間のラジアル軸受隙間に生じる流体膜の動圧作用で前記軸部材を相対回転自在に支持する流体動圧軸受装置。
- 金属粉末を圧縮成形することにより、筒状の内層及び外層を一体に有し、前記内層を銅鉄系の焼結金属で構成し、前記外層を鉄系の焼結金属で構成することにより、前記外層の圧縮耐力を前記内層の圧縮耐力よりも大きくした圧粉体を成形する圧縮成形工程と、前記圧粉体を焼成して焼結体を形成する焼結工程と、前記焼結体の内周面にラジアル動圧発生部を型成形するサイジング工程とを有する焼結軸受の製造方法であって、
前記サイジング工程は、前記焼結体の内周に、外周面に成形型が形成されたコアロッドを挿入するステップと、前記コアロッドが内周に挿入されたままの状態で前記焼結体をダイの内周に圧入することにより、前記焼結体を外周から圧迫してその内周面を前記コアロッドの前記成形型に押し付けることにより、前記焼結体の内周面を塑性変形させて前記ラジアル動圧発生部を型成形するステップと、前記コアロッドが内周に挿入されたままの状態で前記焼結体を前記ダイの内周から取り出すことにより、前記焼結体の内周面を拡径させて前記コアロッドの前記成形型から離型するステップと、前記焼結体と前記コアロッドとを分離するステップとを有する焼結軸受の製造方法。
