Description
このタイヤのトレッドパターンは、トレッド部Tのセンター領域Ceにセンターリブ2が形成された「センターリブパターン」であって、図1に示すタイヤ赤道Eを基準としてタイヤ幅方向に非対称とされている。より詳しく言うと、溝形状自体はタイヤ赤道Eを基準として対称に形成されているものの、タイヤ赤道Eを挟んだタイヤ幅方向の一方側領域と他方側領域でタイヤ周方向に1/2ピッチ分ずれて配置されたことで非対称となっている。
トレッド部Tには、複数の傾斜主溝1…1が形成されている。各傾斜主溝1は一対の陸部間に形成された溝であり、トレッド部Tのセンター領域Ceからショルダー部Shへと向かうように、タイヤ径方向視でタイヤ赤道Eに対して傾斜して形成されている。なお、トレッド部Tには、図1に示すように、傾斜主溝1に交差するように湾曲する細溝と、ショルダー部Shに至る細溝とが形成されているが、これら細溝の詳細な説明は省略する。
第1傾斜主溝11は、誘導側壁111と第1底溝部112とを備える。誘導側壁111は、第1傾斜主溝11の溝幅方向の一方側の側壁であって、図2、図3、図5に示すように、第1傾斜主溝11における踏み込み側に形成されている。このように、誘導側壁111が第1傾斜主溝11自体に備えられているため、例えば特許文献1に記載のように、斜面が排水を通す溝とは離れた位置にある構成に比べ、水を安定的に第2傾斜主溝12に流すことができる。第1傾斜主溝11の溝幅と同じく誘導側壁111も、タイヤ幅方向の寸法につき、タイヤ回転方向Rの遅れ側(図示上方)に向かうにつれ、拡大した後に縮小しており、図5に示すように、誘導側壁111の中央部分111cで最も大きくなる。
第2傾斜主溝12は、図3に示すように、湾曲傾斜部121と該湾曲傾斜部121に対して溝幅方向の一方に隣接する第2底溝部122とを有する。湾曲傾斜部121は、陸部の表面から溝内に向かって傾斜する、凹面である斜面を有している。この凹面は、第2傾斜主溝12の延びる方向に交わる方向での断面形状が、タイヤ内部へと凹む曲線として現れるような湾曲面である。第2底溝部122は、湾曲傾斜部121に対して段差12aを介して隣接している。第2底溝部122の底面122aは湾曲傾斜部121の溝内端縁121aよりも更に溝内側(タイヤ径内側)に位置する。
以上、本実施形態のタイヤは、乾燥路での高い走行性能(操縦安定性)と湿潤路での高い走行性能(排水性)とを両立できる。

Claims (3)
- 一対の陸部間に形成された溝であって、湾曲傾斜部と該湾曲傾斜部に対して溝幅方向に隣接する底溝部とを有する溝をトレッド部に備え、
前記湾曲傾斜部は、前記陸部の表面から溝内に向かって傾斜する、凹面である斜面を有し、
前記底溝部は、前記湾曲傾斜部に対して段差を介して隣接し、底面が前記湾曲傾斜部の溝内端縁よりも更に溝内側に位置する空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記溝の延びる方向は、タイヤ径方向視でタイヤ赤道に対して傾斜した方向であり、
前記湾曲傾斜部は、前記溝における踏み込み側の側面に位置する、請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記溝が複数形成されており、
各溝の延びる方向は、タイヤ径方向視でタイヤ赤道に対して傾斜し、かつ、トレッド部のセンター領域からショルダー部へと向かうように傾斜した方向であり、
前記湾曲傾斜部の前記陸部の表面からの深さは、前記センター領域側の範囲及びショルダー部側の範囲では浅く、中間の範囲では深く、
隣り合って位置する2本の前記溝のうち、一方の溝において前記湾曲傾斜部の深さが浅い範囲と、他方の溝において前記湾曲傾斜部の深さが深い範囲とがタイヤ幅方向に隣り合うよう配置される、請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
