Description
トレッド部のセンター領域に、タイヤ周方向に連続して延びるリブを備え、
前記リブは、中央部にタイヤ周方向に沿って複数の凹部をそれぞれ有し、
前記各凹部の底面は、タイヤ幅方向の両側に向かってそれぞれ深くなる一対の傾斜面で構成され、
前記凹部の片側には、タイヤ周方向の蹴出側に向かってタイヤ幅方向に延びる溝部が連通しており、
前記凹部は、踏込側から蹴出側に向かってタイヤ周方向に徐々に幅が広くなるように形成されていることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤを提供する。
さらに、凹部は、踏込側から蹴出側に向かってタイヤ周方向に徐々に幅が広くなるように形成されてので、凹部に侵入した水の流動抵抗を、流動方向に向かって徐々に小さくすることができ、より一層排水性を高めることが可能となる。
比較例1は、図3に示すトレッドパターンを有する空気入りタイヤであり、図1とは凹部6が形成されていない点で相違する。
比較例2は、図4に示すトレッドパターンを有する空気入りタイヤであり、図1とは凹部6の底面が曲面6cで形成されている点で相違する。
比較例3は、図5に示すトレッドパターンを有する空気入りタイヤであり、図1の凹部6とは展開視では同様な三角形であるが、底面が単一の傾斜面6dで構成されている点で相違する。
実施例1は、図1に示すトレッドパターンを有する空気入りタイヤである。

Claims (4)
- トレッド部のセンター領域に、タイヤ周方向に連続して延びるリブを備え、
前記リブは、中央部にタイヤ周方向に沿って複数の凹部をそれぞれ有し、
前記各凹部の底面は、タイヤ幅方向の両側に向かってそれぞれ深くなる一対の傾斜面で構成され、
前記凹部の片側には、タイヤ周方向の蹴出側に向かってタイヤ幅方向に延びる溝部が連通しており、
前記凹部は、踏込側から蹴出側に向かってタイヤ周方向に徐々に幅が広くなるように形成されていることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記溝部は、前記トレッド部に形成されてタイヤ周方向に延びる主溝に連通していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記リブは、タイヤ周方向に並設される前記各凹部によって踏込側から蹴出側に向かってタイヤ周方向に徐々に幅が広くなるように形成された先端部を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記溝部は、タイヤ周方向に向かってタイヤ幅方向の一側方と他側方とに交互に延びていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
