Claims (5)
- ディスクロータの一側部に配設される作用部に、シリンダ孔をディスクロータ側に開口して設け、前記シリンダ孔にピストン部材を移動可能に内挿し、前記作用部のシリンダ孔の反ディスクロータ側に、シリンダ軸と直交方向の断面形状が同一形状となる連結部を延出し、ブレーキワイヤの牽引によって回動する回動アームの作動によって前記ピストン部材をシリンダ軸方向に移動させるピストン部材作動機構を連結する連結面を前記連結部の端部に形成したキャリパボディを、湯口又は押し湯部から前記連結部の連結面形成部分を介してキャビティに注湯して鋳造成形する機械式ディスクブレーキ用キャリパボディの製造方法において、
鋳造成形後に、前記連結部をディスクブレーキを取り付けるホイールの幅に応じてシリンダ軸と直交する方向に切断して予め設定された長さの連結部を形成するとともに、切断された連結部の端面に前記ピストン部材作動機構を連結する前記連結面を形成し、
該連結面側から、前記連結部に前記ピストン部材の基端側を収容する収容孔を反ディスクロータ側に開口して形成した
ことを特徴とする機械式ディスクブレーキ用キャリパボディの製造方法。 - 前記シリンダ孔の底壁にシリンダ軸方向の貫通孔を形成し、前記シリンダ孔に移動可能に内挿されたピストンを先端側に連結したプッシュロッドを前記貫通孔に挿通するとともに、プッシュロッドの基端側に前記ピストン部材作動機構を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の機械式ディスクブレーキ用キャリパボディの製造方法。
- 前記連結面には、前記シリンダ孔の外周側に配置されるボルトによって前記ピストン部材作動機構を連結する雌ねじ孔が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の機械式ディスクブレーキ用キャリパボディの製造方法。
- 前記ピストン部材作動機構は、前記連結面に連結される連結基部と、該連結基部から突出してブレーキワイヤを保持する保持腕と、前記回動アームの回動を規制する規制片とを、鋳造にて一体に形成したことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の機械式ディスクブレーキ用キャリパボディの製造方法。
- 前記シリンダ孔と前記ピストンとの間に設けられた液圧室に作動液のポートを設け、前記ピストンを液圧により作動させる液圧式作動機構を備えていることを特徴とする請求項2乃至4のいずれか1項記載の機械式ディスクブレーキ用キャリパボディの製造方法。
