Claims (2)
- 青色LEDチップから出力される青色光を黄色蛍光体に透過させることにより生成される擬似的な白色光によって原稿面を照明するための白色LEDと、該白色LEDから出射されて入射面から入射する光を主走査方向に導く円柱状の導光体と、該導光体の出射面から出射して原稿面で反射した光を電気信号に変換して原稿画像を読み取る光電変換素子を備え、前記導光体の出射面に対向する面に光拡散用の複数のプリズムを主走査方向に配置して成る画像読取装置において、
前記白色LEDは、その発光面の中心が前記導光体の入射面の中心に対向するように設置されており、
前記導光体の入射面に、前記導光体の入射面の中心を中心とする同心円状の複数のV字溝が形成されており、
前記各V字溝は、全周に亘って同一形状の連続した溝であることを特徴とする画像読取装置。 - 請求項1に記載の画像読取装置を備えることを特徴とする画像形成装置。
