Claims (5)
- ポリ−L−乳酸とポリ−D−乳酸のステレオコンプレックス繊維の短繊維をポリ−L−乳酸系高分子材料にブレンドしたコンポジットからなり、曲げ強度が220MPa以上で、曲げ弾性率が6GPa以上の高強度・高弾性率生体内分解吸収性骨固定材。
- 前記ステレオコンプレックス繊維の短繊維は、溶融紡糸法により得られた繊維を120〜220℃で熱延伸した後、切断することにより短繊維化したものである請求項1の高強度・高弾性率生体内分解吸収性骨固定材。
- ポリ−L−乳酸系高分子材料に対し重量比で20〜60%となるように、ポリ−L−乳酸とポリ−D−乳酸のステレオコンプレックス繊維の短繊維をブレンドしたか、またはこの短繊維と繊維状ヒドロキシアパタイトとをブレンドしたコンポジットからなる請求項1または2の高強度・高弾性率生体内分解吸収性骨固定材。
- ポリ−L−乳酸系高分子材料と、前記のステレオコンプレックス繊維の短繊維とを180〜220℃の温度で溶融混合するか、または、ポリ−L−乳酸系高分子材料と、前記のステレオコンプレックス繊維の短繊維と、繊維状ヒドロキシアパタイトとを180〜220℃の温度で溶融混合し、固体の状態で、押し出し成形、またはプレス成形を行うことにより、ポリ−L−乳酸系高分子材料の分子鎖が長軸方向、あるいは多軸方向に配向していることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の高強度・高弾性率生体内分解吸収性骨固定材。
- ポリ−L−乳酸系高分子材料は、光学純度が100〜70%のポリ乳酸からなるか、またはL−ラクチド/グリコリド共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4の高強度・高弾性率生体内分解吸収性骨固定材。
