Description
厚さ方向の中間層に設けられ、外端が外周縁から露出して第1接続部となり、内端が開口の内周縁から露出して電極となり、第1接続部同士の間又は第1接続部と接地部材との間に印加された電圧により電極間又は電極と周囲の接地部材との間で放電する放電線路と、
少なくとも一部が開口の内周縁における厚さ方向の中間層に設けられ、燃焼室へ電磁波を放射するアンテナと、
厚さ方向の中間層に設けられ、外端が外周縁から露出して第2接続部となり、内端が上記アンテナに接続され、電磁波をアンテナに導く電磁波伝送路とを備え、
上記放電線路、アンテナ及び電磁波伝送路と、厚さ方向の両端面との間を電気的に絶縁するように構成されている。
ピストンが往復可能に嵌まるシリンダが貫通して設けられたシリンダブロックと、
このシリンダブロックの反クランクケース側に組み付けられてピストン及びシリンダと共に燃焼室を形成するシリンダヘッドと、
上記シリンダブロックとシリンダヘッドとの間に装着された本発明の内燃機関のガスケットとを備えている。

Claims (7)
- ピストンが往復自在に嵌まるシリンダが貫通して設けられたシリンダブロックと、このシリンダブロックの反クランクケース側に組み付けられてピストン及びシリンダと共に燃焼室を形成するシリンダヘッドとの間に装着され、シリンダに対応した開口が設けられた内燃機関のガスケットであって、
厚さ方向の中間層に設けられ、外端が外周縁から露出して第1接続部となり、内端が開口の内周縁から露出して電極となり、第1接続部同士の間又は第1接続部と接地部材との間に印加された電圧により電極間又は電極と周囲の接地部材との間で放電する放電線路と、
少なくとも一部が開口の内周縁における厚さ方向の中間層に設けられ、燃焼室へ電磁波を放射するアンテナと、
厚さ方向の中間層に設けられ、外端が外周縁から露出して第2接続部となり、内端が上記アンテナに接続され、電磁波をアンテナに導く電磁波伝送路とを備え、
上記放電線路、アンテナ及び電磁波伝送路と、厚さ方向の両端面との間を電気的に絶縁するように構成されている内燃機関のガスケット。 - 上記中間層が誘電体又は絶縁体により形成され、この中間層に対して厚さ方向の少なくとも一方側にある表面層が電気伝導体で形成されている請求項1の内燃機関のガスケット。
- 上記アンテナが棒形に形成され、その基端が厚さ方向の中間層に設けられ、この基端から出て先端に至る部分が開口の内周縁に沿って開口の周方向に延びている請求項1又は請求項2の内燃機関のガスケット。
- 上記アンテナに電磁波を供給したときにアンテナに生じる電磁波の電界強度が大になる部位の近傍に電極が位置づけられている請求項1ないし請求項3のうちいずれか1項の内燃機関のガスケット。
- 上記中間層にはシールドケーブルが設けられ、このシールドケーブルの内部電線の芯線が放電線路又は電磁波伝送路を構成している請求項1ないし請求項4のうちいずれか1項の内燃機関のガスケット。
- 上記放電線路が一対設けられ、これらの放電線路の電極が近接して配置されている請求項1ないし請求項5のうちいずれか1項の内燃機関のガスケット。
- ピストンが往復可能に嵌まるシリンダが貫通して設けられたシリンダブロックと、
このシリンダブロックの反クランクケース側に組み付けられてピストン及びシリンダと共に燃焼室を形成するシリンダヘッドと、
上記シリンダブロックとシリンダヘッドとの間に装着された請求項1ないし請求項6のうちいずれか1項の内燃機関のガスケットとを備えた内燃機関。
