Claims (1)
- 燃焼室と、
放電ギャップにおいて放電プラズマを生成する放電動作を行う放電装置と、
電磁波を発振する電磁波発振器及び該電磁波発振器から供給された電磁波を上記燃焼室へ放射するためのアンテナを有する電磁波放射装置とを備え、
前記アンテナが、燃焼室のシリンダヘッドの排気ポート間、吸/排気ポート間、又は吸気ポート間のいずれかに配備され、
前記電磁波放射装置からの電磁波の放射動作は、前記放電動作と同時期に行うとともに、
前記放射動作における前記アンテナからの電磁波の放射位置と前記放電ギャップとを通る仮想の直線を挟むように、一対の浮遊電極が設けられていることを特徴とする内燃機関。
