Description
また、オルタネータの駆動シャフトがプーリよりも速い速度で「オーバーラン」又は回転することができ、プーリの速度がエンジン速度の変動に起因してオルタネータ駆動シャフトに対して変動できるようにするようプーリとオルタネータとの間に作動的に結合されたデカップラを提供することが知られている。
デカップラの例は、2000年7月4日にメビッセン等に付与された特許文献1及び1992年8月18日にバイツゼック等に付与された特許文献2に開示されている。

Claims (17)
- トルクをシャフトと駆動ベルトとの間で伝達するデカップラ組立体であって、
シャフトに固定的に組み付けられるよう形作られたハブを有し、前記ハブには螺旋形の第1のスロットが形成され、
前記ハブに回転自在に取り付けられたキャリヤを有し、前記キャリヤには螺旋形の第2のスロットが形成され、
ハブ端部とキャリヤ端部とを備え、トルクを前記ハブとキャリヤとの間で伝達する捩りばねを有し、前記ハブ端部は、前記捩りばねの前記ハブ端部と前記ハブとの相対運動を阻止するよう前記螺旋形の第1のスロット内に保持され、前記キャリヤ端部は、前記捩りばねの前記キャリヤ端部と前記キャリヤとの相対運動を阻止するよう前記螺旋形の第2のスロット内に保持され、
前記ハブに回転自在に結合されたプーリを有し、前記プーリは、駆動ベルトと摩擦係合するよう形作られた外周部を有し、前記プーリには内面が形成され、
前記キャリヤにしっかりと固定されていて、前記ハブとプーリを選択的に結合するよう前記プーリの前記内面と摩擦係合する複数の螺旋コイルを有し、被覆されていないばね鋼材料で作られたクラッチばねを有し、前記捩りばねと前記クラッチばねは逆方向に巻回されていて、それにより前記クラッチばねが前記ハブに対する前記プーリの加速中、前記内面と掴み係合するよう拡張でき、前記ハブに対する前記プーリの減速中、縮んで前記内面との掴み係合から離脱することができるようになっており、
前記プーリと前記ハブとの間に作動的に組み立てられていて、前記プーリを前記ハブに回転自在に取り付けるベアリング部材を有しており、
前記デカップラ組立体は、前記ベアリング部材と作動的に関連していて、前記ベアリング部材の摩擦による摩耗を最小限に抑える第1の潤滑剤及び前記クラッチばねと前記プーリの前記内面との間に設けられていて、前記クラッチばねと前記内面との間の摩耗を最小限に抑える第2の潤滑剤を有し、第2の潤滑剤は、前記第1の潤滑剤が前記ベアリング部材から押しのけられて前記クラッチばねと前記内面との間の前記第2の潤滑剤と混じり合っても前記デカップラ組立体が機能し続けるよう前記第1の潤滑剤と適合性がある、
ことを特徴とするデカップラ組立体。 - 前記ハブは、第1の端部と第2の端部とを備えた本体を有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記ハブは、前記第1の端部と前記第2の端部との間に延びる円筒形の外面を有していることを特徴とする請求項2記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記ハブは、前記本体よりも大きな直径のフランジ外面を形成するよう前記本体から半径方向外方に延びる第1のフランジを有していることを特徴とする請求項3記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記第1のフランジは、前記本体と前記フランジ外面との間で半径方向に延びる環状面を有していることを特徴とする請求項4記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記螺旋形の第1のスロットは、前記環状面に形成されていて、前記捩りばねの前記ハブ端部と前記ハブの相対運動を阻止するために前記捩りばねの前記ハブ端部を収納保持するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項5記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記ハブは、前記ハブの前記本体よりも小さな直径の外側取付け面を備えた縮径部分を有していることを特徴とする請求項6記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記ハブは、前記本体と前記外側取付け面との間で半径方向に延びる当接面を有していることを特徴とする請求項7記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記キャリヤは、リングの形をしており、互いに反対側に位置する第1の側部と第2の側部との間で軸方向に延びていることを特徴とする請求項8記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記螺旋形の第2のスロットは、前記キャリヤの前記第1の側部及び第2の側部のうちの一方に形成されていて、前記捩りばねの前記キャリヤ端部と前記キャリヤの相対運動を阻止するために前記捩りばねの前記キャリヤ端部を収納保持するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項9記載のデカップラ組立体。
- クラッチばねが、鉤状近位端部と反対側の遠位端部とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項10記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記キャリヤの前記第1の端部及び第2の端部のうち少なくとも一方は、前記クラッチばねの前記鉤状近位端部と前記キャリヤの相対運動を阻止するよう前記クラッチばねの前記鉤状近位端部を収納保持する鉤状スロットを有していることを特徴とする請求項11記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記クラッチばねは、前記複数のコイルと前記プーリの前記内面との摩擦係合状態を向上させるよう非円形の断面を有していることを特徴とする請求項12記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記ベアリング部材は、前記ハブに係合する内レース及び前記プーリに係合する外レースを備えたボールベアリング組立体を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記縮径部分の前記外側取付け面に装着されていて、前記捩りばねを前記キャリヤと前記ハブとの間で軸方向に圧縮するスラストワッシャを有していることを特徴とする請求項14記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記ボールベアリング組立体の前記内レースは、前記スラストワッシャを前記当接面に当接保持するよう前記縮径部分の前記外側取付け面上に圧力嵌めされ、それにより前記捩りばねの前記軸方向圧縮状態が維持されることを特徴とする請求項15記載のデカップラ組立体。
- 前記キャリヤは、前記キャリヤが撓んで前記デカップラ組立体の回転と関連した荷重に順応できるようにする割り部を有していることを特徴とする請求項16記載のデカップラ組立体。
