Claims (6)
- 自動車のドアレールの内側に設置されるサイドエアバッグモジュールにおいて、
ガス発生器によって膨張し平面的に展開するエアバッグを備え、
前記ガス発生器は供給管によって前記エアバッグに接続され、
前記供給管は、エアバッグの長手方向の始点及び終点付近に配置された2つのガス放出孔を備え、
前記エアバッグは、前記供給管の前記ガス放出孔の直上に充填開口部を有し、最初に展開する2つのアウターチャンバーと、前記2つのアウターチャンバーの間に配置され、当該アウターチャンバーに続いて展開する中間チャンバーとを備えることを特徴とするサイドエアバッグモジュール。 - 前記エアバッグは、互いに重なり合う周縁部で連結された3枚のファブリック層で構成され、
前記3枚のファブリック層は、インナーファブリック層と、アウターファブリック層と、これらのファブリック層の間に配置された中間ファブリック層とを備え、
前記ファブリック層は、前記中間ファブリック層が前記インナーファブリック層と前記アウターファブリック層とに交互に接続されるように、前記エアバッグの両端部の間に個々のチャンバーを形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のサイドエアバッグモジュール。 - 前記3枚のファブリック層の接続部分は、互いに縫製され、さらに/又は互いに接着されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のサイドエアバッグモジュール。
- 前記チャンバーは、膨張状態において、前記エアバッグの長手方向に対して交差する方向に交互にドーム状となるように成形されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載のサイドエアバッグモジュール。
- 前記チャンバーは、膨張状態において、前記エアバッグの展開方向に対して平行となるように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載のサイドエアバッグモジュール。
- 前記エアバッグの2つのアウターチャンバーの少なくとも一つのチャンバーは、前記供給管に対して垂直よりも外側に向かって傾斜するように成形されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載のサイドエアバッグモジュール。
