Claims (8)
- 複数の異なるアンテナから異なる情報を同一の周波数を用いて同時に送信し、複数の異なるアンテナにて受信した信号を分離して上記情報を取得するMIMO多重通信装置であって、
QR分解により送信信号の直交化を行った受信信号から生き残りシンボルレプリカ候補の信号成分を差し引いた残留受信信号に対し、ブランチメトリックが小さいと予想される順番にランキングを行うシンボルレプリカ候補ランキング部と、
最上位にランキングされたシンボルレプリカ候補から順にシンボルレプリカ候補を選択するシンボルレプリカ候補選択部と、
選択されたシンボルレプリカ候補のブランチメトリックを計算するブランチメトリック計算部と、
計算されたブランチメトリックを所定のスレッショルドと比較するスレッショルド比較部とを備え、
上記スレッショルド比較部における比較の結果、ブランチメトリックが所定のスレッショルドより大きくなった場合、シンボルレプリカ候補の探索を即座に停止せずに所定の候補数余分に探索を行い、その後に当該ステージの以後のシンボルレプリカ候補については探索を行わずにシンボルレプリカ候補から削除することを特徴とするMIMO多重通信装置。 - 上記シンボルレプリカ候補ランキング部は、上記残留受信信号が信号点配置図上において判定範囲内に原点をおいた直交座標のいずれの象限に存在するか判定し、判定された象限を含む範囲に上記判定範囲を狭めていく処理を複数回繰り返すことで、上記信号点配置図上における各信号点の位置を特定し、その位置関係からシンボルレプリカ候補のブランチメトリックの大小関係を判定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のMIMO多重通信装置。
- 最終ステージにおけるブランチメトリックが所定のスレッショルドより小さいシンボルレプリカ候補を複数保持するリストが全て埋まっている場合、新たに追加しようとするシンボルレプリカ候補のブランチメトリックをリスト内のシンボルレプリカ候補の最大ブランチメトリックと比較して小さければ入れ替えを行うとともに、上記スレッショルドを入れ替え後のリスト内のシンボルレプリカ候補の最大ブランチメトリックに更新することを特徴とする請求項1または2のいずれか一項に記載のMIMO多重通信装置。
- 最終ステージにおけるブランチメトリックが所定のスレッショルドより小さいシンボルレプリカ候補を複数保持するリストが全て埋まっている場合、新たに追加しようとするシンボルレプリカ候補のブランチメトリックをリスト内のシンボルレプリカ候補の最大ブランチメトリックと比較して小さければ入れ替えを行うとともに、入れ替えられたシンボルレプリカ候補についても破棄せずに一定数だけリスト内に保持することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のMIMO多重通信装置。
- 所定の演算処理量に達した場合、シンボルレプリカ候補の探索を終了することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のMIMO多重通信装置。
- 受信信号に含まれる直交パイロット信号に基づいてチャネル推定を行うチャネル推定部と、
チャネル推定の結果から受信SINRの大きい順に送信信号のランキングを行う送信信号ランキング部とを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のMIMO多重通信装置。 - 上記直交パイロット信号は、時間多重、周波数多重、コード多重もしくはこれらの組み合わせのいずれかで送信信号に多重されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のMIMO多重通信装置。
- 複数の異なるアンテナから異なる情報を同一の周波数を用いて同時に送信し、複数の異なるアンテナにて受信した信号を分離して上記情報を取得するMIMO多重通信における信号分離方法であって、
QR分解により送信信号の直交化を行った受信信号から生き残りシンボルレプリカ候補の信号成分を差し引いた残留受信信号に対し、ブランチメトリックが小さいと予想される順番にランキングを行う工程と、
最上位にランキングされたシンボルレプリカ候補から順にシンボルレプリカ候補を選択する工程と、
選択されたシンボルレプリカ候補のブランチメトリックを計算する工程と、
計算されたブランチメトリックを所定のスレッショルドと比較する工程と、
上記比較の結果、ブランチメトリックが所定のスレッショルドより大きくなった場合、シンボルレプリカ候補の探索を即座に停止せずに所定の候補数余分に探索を行い、その後に当該ステージの以後のシンボルレプリカ候補については探索を行わずにシンボルレプリカ候補から削除する工程とを備えたことを特徴とする信号分離方法。
