Claims (15)
- 燃料電池スタックアセンブリ、熱交換器ならびにハウジングを含む燃料電池モジュールアセンブリであって:燃料電池スタックアセンブリは燃料電池スタックおよび複数のマニホールドを含み、燃料電池スタックは第1のプロセスガスを受け、アウトプットするように構成され、複数のマニホールドは第1のマニホールドおよび第2のマニホールドを含み、第1のマニホールドは第1のプロセスガスを燃料電池スタックに供給するように構成され、第2のマニホールドは燃料電池スタックからアウトプットされた第1のプロセスガスを受けるように構成され、熱交換器は外部供給源から第1のプロセスガスを受け、第1のプロセスガスを第1のマニホールドにアウトプットするように構成され、かつ、第1のプロセスガスを第2のマニホールドから受け、第1のプロセスガスをアウトプットするように構成され、ハウジングは燃料電池スタックアセンブリおよび熱交換器を取り囲むことを特徴とする、燃料電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 燃料電池スタックは第2のプロセスガスを受け、アウトプットするようにさらに構成され、複数のマニホールドは第3のマニホールドおよび第4のマニホールドを含み、第3のマニホールドは第2のプロセスガスを燃料電池スタックに供給するように構成され、第4のマニホールドは燃料電池スタックからアウトプットされた第2のプロセスガスを受けるように構成され、熱交換器は第2の外部供給源から第2のプロセスガスを受け、第2のプロセスガスを第3のマニホールドにアウトプットするようにさらに構成され、かつ、第4のマニホールドから第2のプロセスガスを受け、第2のプロセスガスをアウトプットするように構成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の燃料電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- ハウジングはハウジングの第1の端部に位置する複数のポートを含み、複数のポートは熱交換器に流体的に接続し、かつ、第1のポート、第2のポート、第3のポートおよび第4のポートを含み、第1のポートは外部供給源から第1のプロセスガスを受けるように構成され、第2のポートはハウジングから第1のプロセスガスをアウトプットするように構成され、第3のポートは第2の外部供給源から第2のプロセスガスを受けるように構成され、第4のポートはハウジングから第2のプロセスガスをアウトプットするように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の燃料電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 熱交換器は第1の温度で外部供給源から第1のプロセスガスを受け、第2の温度で第1のプロセスガスを燃料電池スタックアセンブリにアウトプットするようにさらに構成され、第1の温度は第2の温度よりも約85%~約95%低く、熱交換器は第3の温度で燃料電池スタックアセンブリから第1のプロセスガスを受け、第4の温度で第1のプロセスガスをアウトプットするようにさらに構成され、第4の温度は第3の温度よりも約70%~約80%低いことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の燃料電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 熱交換器は第5の温度で第2の外部供給源から第2のプロセスガスを受け、第6の温度で燃料電池スタックアセンブリに第2のプロセスガスをアウトプットするようにさらに構成され、第5の温度は第6の温度よりも約75%~約85%低く、熱交換器は第7の温度で燃料電池スタックアセンブリから第2のプロセスガスを受け、かつ、第8の温度で第2のプロセスガスをアウトプットするようにさらに構成され、第8の温度は第7の温度よりも約70%~約80%低いことを特徴する、請求項4に記載の燃料電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 第1の端部を有し、燃料電池スタックを含むモジュールアセンブリ、設置済みモードの間、モジュールアセンブリを保持するように構成されたラック構造、プラント装置のバランス(balance of plant equipment)、および、設置済みモードの間、プラント装置のバランスおよびモジュールアセンブリの第1の端部の間に流体連絡を提供するように構成されたダクトを含み、モジュールアセンブリおよびラック構造は、除去モードの間、モジュールアセンブリがモジュールアセンブリの第1の端部から離れる方向から離れる方向でラック構造から除去可能なように構成されていることを特徴とする、燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- ラック構造は第1の端部および第1の端部と反対側の第2の端部を有し、ダクトの少なくとも一部分はラック構造の第1の端部に近接し、設置済みモードの間、モジュールアセンブリの第1の端部はラック構造の第1の端部に近接していることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- モジュールアセンブリおよびラック構造は、除去モードの間、モジュールアセンブリがラック構造の第2の端部から除去可能なように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- 燃料電池スタックはプロセスガスを受け、アウトプットするように構成され、モジュールアセンブリは:第1のマニホールドおよび第2のマニホールドを含む複数のマニホールドをさらに含み、第1のマニホールドはプロセスガスを燃料電池スタックに供給するように構成され、第2のマニホールドは燃料電池スタックからアウトプットされたプロセスガスを受けるように構成され、熱交換器は第1の温度のプロセスガスを外部供給源から受け、第2の温度のプロセスガスを第1のマニホールドにアウトプットするように構成され、かつ、第3温度のプロセスガスを第2のマニホールドから受け、第4の温度のプロセスガスをアウトプットするように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- 複数のモジュールアセンブリをさらに含み、ラック構造は複数のモジュールアセンブリを積層配置に保持するように構成され、ラック構造および複数のモジュールアセンブリの各々は、除去モードの間、モジュールアセンブリが同じ方向でラック構造から除去可能なように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- モジュールアセンブリを含む複数のモジュールアセンブリをさらに含み;ラック構造は複数のモジュールアセンブリを積層配置で保持するように構成され、ラック構造は複数のモジュールアセンブリに対して積層配置でプラント装置のバランスを保持するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- ダクトは、ラック構造の第1の端部に近接し、かつ、複数のモジュールアセンブリに向けてプラント装置のバランスから離れて延在するように構成された胴体部、およびモジュールアセンブリと連絡するように構成された第1の枝部を含む胴体部から離れて延在する複数の枝部を含むことを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- 複数のモジュールアセンブリ、ラック構造、プラント装置のバランス、およびダクトがモジュールクラスタを形成し、燃料電池発電プラントがモジュールクラスタを含む複数のモジュールクラスタをさらに含み、除去モードの間、モジュールクラスタは複数のモジュールクラスタの中の他のモジュールクラスタから電気的および/または流体的に分離されるように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- 複数のモジュールクラスタが並んで配置されてクラスタ群を形成し、クラスタ群が第1の端部を有し、複数のモジュールクラスタの中の各々のラック構造の第1の端部がクラスタ群の第1の端部に存在することを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
- クラスタ群を含む複数のクラスタ群をさらに含む、請求項14に記載の燃料電池発電プラントシステム。
