<磁性体コアの外殻に二酸化チタン層形成>
エタノール3.6Lに磁性体粒子120g、蒸溜水24mlを投入した後、超音波を照射して分散させる。TBOT(tetrabuthoxy titanium)38mlとエタノール300mlを混合し、30分間徐々に投入する。常温で3時間のうち300rpmの回転速度で撹拌する。コア粒子粉末を磁石で分離し、エタノールで2回洗浄した後、乾燥した。
<二酸化チタン層が形成された磁性体コアに銀膜形成>
蒸溜水800mlにグルコース(Glucose)85g、酒石酸カリウム(potassium tartrate)5gを溶解して還元液を製造した。蒸溜水800mlに水酸化ナトリウム(NaOH)12g、水酸化アンモニウム(NH4OH)100ml、硝酸銀(AgNO3)55gを溶解して無色の透明な銀アンミン錯体溶液を製造した。
<最外殻に銀膜が形成された磁性体粒子に二酸化珪素保護膜形成>
エタノール3.6Lに最外殻に銀膜が形成された磁性体粒子120g、蒸溜水30ml、NH4OH 150mlを投入した後、超音波を3分間照射して分散させた。TEOS(Tetraethyl orthosilicate)40mlとエタノール300mlを混合して30分間徐々に投入する。常温で3時間のうち300rpmの回転速度で撹拌した。磁性粒子粉末を磁石で分離し、エタノールで2回洗浄した後、乾燥した。
<最外殻に二酸化珪素保護膜が形成された磁性体粒子に二酸化チタン保護膜形成>
エタノール3.6Lに最外殻に二酸化珪素保護膜が形成された磁性体粒子120g、蒸溜水24mlを投入した後、超音波を3分間照射して分散させた。TBOT(Tetrabuthoxy titanium)38mlとエタノール300mlを混合して30分間徐々に投入した。85℃で3時間のうち還流させながら300rpmの回転速度で撹拌した。磁性粒子粉末を磁石で分離し、エタノールで2回洗浄した後、乾燥した。
[耐磨耗性向上測定実験]
本発明によって得られた磁性粒子の耐磨耗性が向上することを、インク練肉過程で前後反射率の測定によって調べた。磁性粒子を用いて製造されたインクは塗布器で用紙に全色して48時間以上乾燥した後、反射率測定機(Varian、Cary5000)で反射率を測定した。図12はインク練肉前後の555nmでの反射率を示すグラフである。図12を参照すれば、本発明によって製造された磁性粒子の反射率が保護膜のない場合に比べて小幅に減少することが分かる。すなわち、最外殻に銀膜が形成された磁性粒子はインク練肉過程で銀膜が損傷されて反射率が急激に減少するが、最外殻に高反射保護膜が形成された磁性体粒子は反射率が緩やかに減少することが分かる。
本発明によって得られた磁性粒子の耐化学性が向上することを、反射率の測定によって調べた。磁性粒子を用いて製造されたインクは塗布器で用紙に全色し、48時間以上乾燥した後、反射率測定機(Varian、Cary5000)で反射率を測定した後、耐化学性実験をし、さらに反射率を測定した。耐化学実験は5%次亜塩素酸ナトリウム(sodium hypochlorite)溶液を用いて23℃で30分間実施した。最外殻に銀膜が形成された磁性体粒子は次亜塩素酸ナトリウム(sodium hypochlorite)溶液によって銀膜が損傷されて反射率が減少したが、本発明による磁性粒子は最外殻に保護膜が形成されることによって反射率が相対的に小さく減少した。図13は耐化学実験前後の555nmでの反射率を示すグラフである。図13を参照すれば、本発明による保護膜を形成した磁性粒子は、耐化学実験の前には保護膜がない場合に比べて反射率がもっと低いが、耐化学実験後には保護膜がない場合に比べて反射率が優れ、結果として明度が高まったことが分かる。
本発明によって得られた磁性粒子の耐光性が向上することを、黄変現象の発生有無及び程度を観察することで調べた。磁性粒子を用いて製造されたインクは塗布器で用紙に全色し、48時間以上乾燥した後、反射率測定機(Varian、Cary5000)を用いて反射率を測定した後、耐光性実験を行い、さらに反射率を測定した。耐光性実験は、耐光性実験機(Atlas、Ci4000 Xenon Weather−Ometer)をによって100時間のうちに実験を実施した。最外殻に保護膜のない銀膜が形成された磁性粒子から製造したインクは、耐光性実験結果、黄変現象が発生したが、最外殻に保護膜が形成された磁性粒子を用いて作ったインクは耐光性実験結果黄変現象が緩和した。
Claims (22)
- 磁性体コア;
前記磁性体コアの外殻に形成されるシェル;及び
前記シェルの外殻に形成される高反射保護膜;を含み、
前記高反射保護膜は単層または多層であることを特徴とする、高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。 - 前記シェルは単層または多層であり、単層は金属物質を含み、多層は金属または誘電体物質を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 多層の前記シェルは誘電体物質からなる第1シェル及び金属からなる第2シェルを含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記誘電体物質は、二酸化チタン、二酸化珪素、アルミナ、炭酸カルシウム、酸化ジルコニウム、フッ化マグネシウム、酸化亜鉛及び硫化亜鉛よりなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記金属は、銅、ニッケル、金、白金、銀、アルミニウム及びクロムから選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記単層の高反射保護膜は、薄膜の厚さが(0.42×N)−0.17〜(0.42×N)+0.17(Nは整数)波長光学厚さであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記単層の高反射保護膜は、二酸化チタン、二酸化珪素、アルミナ、炭酸カルシウム、酸化ジルコニウム、フッ化マグネシウム、酸化亜鉛、硫化亜鉛、酸化アルミニウム、酸化クロミウム、酸化カドミウム、五酸化バナジウム、ポリイソブチレン、ポリエチレン、アクリル系高分子、及びスチレン系高分子よりなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記多層の高反射保護膜は、前記シェルの外殻に低屈折率膜が形成され、前記低屈折率膜の外殻に高屈折率膜が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記多層の高反射保護膜は、前記低屈折率膜と前記低屈折率膜の外殻に形成された高屈折率膜が繰り返されて形成されることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記低屈折率膜は、二酸化珪素、フッ化マグネシウム、ポリスチレン、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリスチレン−co−ブタジエン、五酸化バナジウム、酸化カドミウム、ポリイソブチレン、ポリエチレンよりなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記高屈折率膜は、二酸化チタン、酸化アルミニウム、酸化亜鉛、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化クロミウムよりなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記低屈折率膜の厚さは0.15〜0.35波長光学厚さであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 前記高屈折率膜の厚さは0.15〜0.35波長光学厚さであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子。
- 磁性体コアの外殻に単層または多層のシェルを形成する段階;及び
前記シェルの外殻に単層または多層の高反射保護膜を形成する段階;を含むことを特徴とする、高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子の製造方法。 - 前記多層のシェルを形成する段階は、誘電体物質を含む第1シェル層を形成する段階及び前記第1シェル層の外殻に金属を含む第2シェル層を形成する段階を含み、前記多層の高反射保護膜を形成する段階は、前記第2シェル層の外殻に低屈折率膜を形成する段階及び前記低屈折率膜の外殻に高屈折率膜を形成する段階を含むことを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子の製造方法。
- 前記第1シェル層を形成するに当たり、誘電体物質は、二酸化チタン、二酸化珪素、アルミナ、炭酸カルシウム、酸化ジルコニウム、フッ化マグネシウム、酸化亜鉛及び硫化亜鉛よりなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子の製造方法。
- 前記第2シェル層を形成するに当たり、金属は、銅、ニッケル、金、白金、銀、アルミニウム及びクロムから選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子の製造方法。
- 前記低屈折率膜は、二酸化珪素、フッ化マグネシウム、ポリスチレン、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリスチレン−co−ブタジエン、五酸化バナジウム、酸化カドミウム、ポリイソブチレン、及びポリエチレンよりなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子の製造方法。
- 前記高屈折率膜は、二酸化チタン、酸化アルミニウム、酸化亜鉛、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化クロミウムよりなる群から選ばれる1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子の製造方法。
- 前記低屈折率膜の厚さは0.15〜0.35波長光学厚さであることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子の製造方法。
- 前記高屈折率膜の厚さは0.15〜0.35波長光学厚さであることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の高反射保護膜を持つ磁性粒子の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか一項による磁性粒子を含む有価証書の保安用インク。
