Description
Claims (30)
- 椎間板の髄核を置換し又は補充するためのプロテーゼであって、
可撓性の壁を備えた拡張可能な容器を有し、
前記容器は、細いカニューレの中を通して椎間板の中央キャビティの中に挿入されるように構成され、
前記可撓性の壁は、生体適合性ヒドロゲルを含む材料から作られる、プロテーゼ。 - 前記生体適合性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)を含む水溶液から形成されたクライオゲルである、請求項1に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記生体適合性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)及びポリ(ビニルピロリドン)を含む水溶液から形成されたクライオゲルである、請求項1に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 拡張されたときに、生来の髄核の形状にほぼ一致する形状を有する、請求項1に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記可撓性の壁の厚さは、0.02mm〜1.00mmである、請求項1に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 椎間板の髄核を置換し又は補充するためのプロテーゼであって、
可撓性の壁を備えた拡張可能な容器を有し、
前記容器は、細いカニューレの中を通して椎間板の中央キャビティの中に挿入されるように構成され、
前記可撓性の壁は、第1の生体適合性ヒドロゲルを含む材料から作られ、
前記拡張可能な容器は、生体適合性液体、生体適合性ポリマー及び第2の生体適合性ヒドロゲルからなる群から選択された生体適合性材料で充填される、プロテーゼ。 - 前記第1の生体適合性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)を含む水溶液から形成されたクライオゲルである、請求項6に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記第1の生体適合性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)及びポリ(ビニルピロリドン)を含む水溶液から形成されたクライオゲルである、請求項6に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 拡張されたときに、生来の髄核の形状にほぼ一致する形状を有する、請求項6に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記第2の生体適合性ヒドロゲルは、熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルである、請求項6に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を含む第1の水溶液と、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)を含む第2の水溶液との混合物から作られる、請求項10に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を含む第1の水溶液と、ポリ(エチレングリコール)を含む第2の水溶液との混合物から作られる、請求項10に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)−グラフトポリ(エチレングリコール)ポリマーを含む水溶液から作られる、請求項10に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(エチレングリコール)−ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)−ポリ(エチレングリコール)トリブロックポリマーを含む水溶液から作られる、請求項10に記載のプロテーゼ。
- 前記可撓性の壁の厚さは、0.02mm〜1.00mmである、請求項6に記載のプロテーゼ。
- ヒドロゲルから容器を形成する方法であって、
マンドレルを、ヒドロゲル形成ポリマー又はその混合物の水溶液に浸してコーティングし、コーティングされた水溶液を形成する工程と、
コーティングされた水溶液を処理して、ゲル化したコーティングを形成する工程と、
ゲル化したコーティングに一連の凍結及び解凍処理を行う工程と、を有する方法。 - 前記コーティングされた水溶液を処理することは、それを冷却することである、請求項16記載の方法。
- 前記凍結及び解凍処理は繰返される、請求項16記載の方法。
- 前記ヒドロゲル形成ポリマーは、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)である、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒドロゲル形成ポリマーの混合物は、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)とポリ(ビニルピロリドン)の混合物である、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 椎間板の髄核を置換又は補充する方法であって、
第1の生体適合性ヒドロゲルから作られた可撓性の壁を有する容器を、最小侵襲性外科的手法によって髄核内に挿入する工程と、
次に、髄核を置換し又は補充するための生体適合性材料を前記可撓性の壁を有する容器内に導入する工程と、を有する、方法。 - 前記第1の生体適合性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)を含む水溶液から形成されたクライオゲルである、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の生体適合性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)及びポリ(ビニルピロリドン)を含む水溶液から形成されたクライオゲルである、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性の壁を有する容器は、それを膨らませたときに、生来の髄核の形状にほぼ一致する形状を有する、請求項21記載の方法。
- 前記生体適合性材料は、生体適合性液体、生体適合性ポリマー及び第2の生体適合性ヒドロゲルからなる群から選択される、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の生体適合性ヒドロゲルは、熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルである、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を含む第1の水溶液と、ポリ(ビニルアルコール)を含む第2の水溶液との混合物から作られる、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)を含む第1の水溶液と、ポリ(エチレングリコール)を含む第2の水溶液との混合物から作られる、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)−グラフトポリ(エチレングリコール)ポリマーを含む水溶液から作られる、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記熱ゲル化性ヒドロゲルは、ポリ(エチレングリコール)−ポリ(N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド)−ポリ(エチレングリコール)トリブロックポリマーを含む水溶液から作られる、請求項26に記載の方法。
