Abstract

A találmány tárgyát a RIP (<receptor interacting protein<)gyulladásos, sejttúlélési és sejthalál-útvonalakban kifejtettintracelluláris aktivitásának modulálására vagy közvetítésére képes újfehérje, a RAP-2 képezi. A találmány tárgyát képezi továbbá a fehérjétkódoló DNS-ek, expressziós hordozók, az azokat tartalmazó gazdasejtek;a fehérje előállítására szolgáló eljárás és a fehérje alkalmazására. ARAP-2 a RIP-hez kötődve képes a RIP-funkcióját és ezáltal közvetvevagy közvetlenül a RIP-hez kötődő egyéb fehérjék funkciójánakmodulálására vagy közvetítésére. A RAP-2-höz kötődő fehérjék pedig aRAP-2 funkciójának modulátorai/közvetítői, amelyek, valamint amoduláló/közvetítő eljárások szintén a találmány tárgyát képezik. Atalálmány szerinti fehérjék széles körben felhaszhálhatók, például aRIP gyulladásos, sejthalál- vagy sejttúlélési útvonalakban kifejtettműködésének modulálására, RIP vagy a FAS-R-ligand, a TNF vagy másrokon fehérje RIP-közvetített hatásának gátlására; illetve ilyenfehérjék izolálására, azonosítására, klónozására, illetve ellenükkészült antitestek előállítására.
