915,502. Selective embossing. ADREMAWERKE G.m.b.H. June 25, 1959 [June 30, 1958], No. 21887/59. Class 100 (4). An embossing-machine type-wheel 2 comprises a hub portion 4 with rim rings 6, 6<SP>1</SP> attached by flanges 14 to its periphery. The rings 6, 6<SP>1</SP> lie firmly on one another, forming a closed annular chamber 10 in holes 8 of which types 9 notched at 12 are held aligned by a resilient ring 11 having projections to engage the notches 12. The rims 6, 6<SP>1</SP> may be formed by injection moulding of synthetic plastic material while similar material or rubber may be used for the ring 11. The type-wheel 2 co-operates with a similar complementary wheel.
