840,972. Drying fabrics. MASCHINENFABRIK BENNINGER A.G. Sept. 11, 1956 [Sept. 19, 1955], No. 27788/56. Class 34(1) A fabric web 6 passing over upper and lower rollers 8 disposed in a drying chamber is subjected to currents of warm air circulated by fans 2, 3 mounted on shafts 1. The air from an upper chamber 4 passes into the upwardly open loops of fabric and is withdrawn laterally from the lower ends of the fans 3 and driven over heaters 7 into a lower chamber 5. From the latter the air passes into the downwardly open loops and is withdrawn laterally from the upper ends thereof by the fans 2 and driven over heaters 7 into the upper chamber.
