Abstract
523,437. Cases combined with drying-cabinets. RUSSELL, E. W. C. March 2, 1939, No. 6846. [Class 18] [Also in Group XIII] A suitcase or like rigid casing has a compartment fitted with rods c for supporting clothing, an air heater d, a fan f or suction device and lid to form a drying chamber. Internal aperture partitions i, i<SP>1 </SP>separate the clothes from the heater and fan, and air may be passed into the chamber by a hair drier or vacuum cleaner. The lid is hinged,at k<SP>1</SP>, may close on a strip of sponge rubber, may carry the fan and heater; or may be used as an ironing board with a detachable leather cloth cover. A compartment l<SP>1</SP> carries an iron and a switch m controls current supply to one or two heating elements d, and fan, or to the iron, pilot lights d<SP>3</SP>, l<SP>3</SP> being provided. A deseccant is placed at o and solid perfume at n. Another compartment of the suitcase carries similar fittings, or clothes and an electric hair drier.
