Abstract
703,207. Ammunition projectiles. ZBOROWSKI H. P. G. A. R. VON. Nov. 9, 1951 [Nov. 10, 1950; Jan. 27, 1951], No. 26352/51. Class 9(1) The self-propelled missile shown in Fig. 1 has a central body 1 from which project radial arms 3 supporting an annular structure 2 within which is the explosive charge 4. In the forward end of the charge. is an annular groove 4a coaxial with the body 1, which contains the firing means comprising a striker 5 and relay 6 connected to detonators 7 within the explosive. The body 1 contains the propulsion means and an explosive charge 8 initiated by means of a relay 9 so that the charge 8 explodes after the body 1 has penetrated the target, penetration being brought about by the charge 4.
