Abstract

684,189. Toilet stands. FANCY METAL GOODS, Ltd., and LEITER, H. Sept. 6, 1951 [Sept. 15, 1950], No. 22685/50. Class 52(iii) A toilet stand comprises a skeleton base formed of three or more spaced legs rigidly connected near their bases by a horizontal tray and extending upwardly and inwardly t o form, collectively, a rigid, central pillar to the upper end of which an angularly adjustable mirror is attached. As shown, tripod legs 1, of strip metal, are soldered together at. 2 and form a socket for a soldered - in nut 4 which receives the screw-threaded stem of a ball and socket joint 7 supporting a mirror 5. An ornamental mount 12, on which manicure instruments may be hung, is clamped between the nut and the socket 10 and the metal edging strip 16 of a tray 15 is secured to the insides of the tripod legs near the base of the stand.
