[Class 44] [Also in Group XIV] A spring clip e.g. for securing a curl of hair comprises two members having clamping jaws and locating means enabling them to rock one on the other, one of the members having an integral spring tongue engaging the other to urge the jaws together. The lower member 2 has a pair of spurs 10 engaging in sockets 11 in the upper member. Both jaws are slotted at 9, the lower member being cranked at 19 near the end of the slot to form a lip 18 for engagement by the hooked end 17 of the spring bow 16 formed on the member 1. The upper member is bent up at 12 to form spaced finger pieces 13, 14 which are pressed together to open the jaws.
