[Class 39 (iii)] [Also in Group XIV] A device for airing clothes or drying towels comprises electric heating means contained in a continuous tube 1 secured at its ends to a base or support member 2 and folded in its length to present a plurality of supporting rails. In the example a resistance cable is contained in a length of metal tubing, the folded tube being in two planar portions forming an inverted V braced by short tubes 4. A sheet metal base 2 carries a switch 5 and indicator lamp 6.
