608,452. Adjustable seats. BRAMAH & CO., Ltd., J. R., and MORT, J. Feb. 25, 1946, No. 5732. [Classes 52(ii) and 52(iii)] The base of a vertically adjustable seat comprises two telescopically arranged hollow box-like parts 21, 24 with one or more longitudinally engaging guides 31, 32 on opposite sides fitted with a locking pawl 33 to hold the parts in adjusted position and controlled by a lever 40. Doors may be provided to enable the interior space to be used for storage.
