880,869. Reclining chairs. LORENZ, A. Dec. 16, 1958, No. 40593/58. Class 52(2) The leg rest of a reclining chair has main and auxiliary sections 10, 11 carried by a lazy-tongs or like linkage actuated by a link 30 from the pivoted seat and back structure 5, 6. When stowed the main section 10 lies vertically under the front edge of the seat 5 while the auxiliary section 11 lies below the seat and substantially parallel thereto. The erecting linkage may be carried by the supporting frame 1 or by the seat and the latter need not be integral with the back.
