[Class 52 (ii)] A vehicle seat is provided with one or more pivoted rear feet d the inclination of which may be adjusted to vary the height of the seat by means of a handlever extending beyond the front of the seat and engageable with a locking plate k. The hand-lever is retained in adjusted position by a pin p projecting from a spring-pressed plunger o and selectively engaging notches n in the locking plate. The front legs may be adjustably secured by a notched bar t, to permit horizontal adjustment of the seat, or the seat frame may be mounted on slides.
