586,277. Jet propulsion gas turbine plant. ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY MOTORS, Ltd., VOCE, J. D., EVANS, D. R., and HEPPNER, F. A. M. June 17, 1942, No. 823/43. Divided out of 585,338. Drawings to Specification. [Classes 110 (i) and 110 (iii)] In a jet-propulsion plant, in which an axialflow compressor is driven by a gas turbine and the compressor is furnished with a leak-off valve by which stalling of the compressor. is prevented, the air passed by the leak-off valve is delivered to the propulsion jet. In plant comprising, also, a jet-augmenter the air is delivered to the latter. Specification 585,338 is referred to.
