[Class 110 (iii)] A gas turbine plant comprising a h.p. compressor driven by a h.p. turbine and a l.p. compressor driven by a l.p. turbine differs from that described in Specification 602,584 in that the air-screw shaft is directly connected to the l.p. turbine shaft and speed-reduction gear, if any, for the airscrew is located forwardly of the h.p. turbine. The turbine exhaust may be led to a propulsion jet.
