Abstract

585,320. Tubular electric lamp fittings. LOWE, K. C. Feb. 21, 1945, No. 4337. [Class 75 (iv)] The choke, condenser, starting switch or other electric auxiliary gear for a tubular electric lamp are mounted in casings 5 on. a channelsectioned member 3 which rests on a projection 9 at one end of a trough-shaped reflector 1 and is removably secured at the opposite end by a screw 8. The lamp holder fittings are mounted in brackets 4 depending from the ends of the member 3. The bottom 6 of the member 3 forms a reflecting surface continuing the sides of the reflector 1. The reflector is hung from the ceiling by rods. The mains plug is inserted through an aperture in the reflector into a socket 10 mounted on the casing 5 and must be removed before the member 3 can be detached from the reflector.
