Abstract

615,040. Reflectors. WARING, F. E., and NURSE, T. H. Aug. 17, 1946, No. 24549. [Classes 75 (ii), 75 (iii) and 75 (iv)] [Also in Group XXV] An adjustable reflector for a tubular electric lamp. comprises two elongated reflector elements 28 of arcuate cross section which are hinged together by means of a hinge pin 30 the ends of which are slidable in vertical slots in the sides of two cubical casings 6 between which the lamp is mounted. The reflector elements can be clamped in any desired setting by means of wing nuts 35 on screw threaded studs which are fixed to the casings 6 and project through slots 34 in the end webs 32 of the reflector elements 28. One lamp socket is mounted, with the ancilliary electrical equipment, on the removable cover of one of the casings 6, the second lamp socket being mounted within the other casing 6 on an adjustable metal frame. The lamp fitting is suspended by means of wire hooks 9 clipped into slots in the edges of the casings 6.
