Abstract

567,351. Motor supports. ELECTROLUX, Ltd. Aug. 24, 1943, No. 13786. Convention date, July 24, 1942. Addition to 536,850. [Class 35] A vacuum cleaner with the motor fan unit supported as claimed in the parent Specification, has a supporting member of hard insulating material between one end of the unit and the outer casing or a member carried thereby. In the form shown, the motor is supported on rubber rings 15 in an inner casing comprising the end hoods 13, 14, in turn supported by a rubber ring 17 and a socket 19 of hard insulating material carried by a resilient diaphragm 20 held in the outer casing by a ring 21. A spring 18 presses the hood 14 away from the flange of the socket 19.
