477,643. Liquid-fuel cooking-stoves; wick burners. PERFECTION STOVE CO. Oct. 23, 1936, No. 28823. Convention date, Nov. 8, 1935. [Classes 75 (i) and 126] In a liquid-fuel cooking-stove with a tubular wick burner 20 and a chimney 35, a horizontal baffle plate 15 with an opening 18 surrounds and is spaced from the upper part of the independently supported burner 20, which removably supports the chimney. The opening in the plate has an upstanding collar 21. The burner 20 carries an annular seat 25 apertured at 29 and carrying an air deflecting device 26 with inner and outer skirt portions 27, 28, the outer portion 28 having apertures 31. The chimney 35, which has apertures 36 and a baffle plate 37 at its lower end, rests on the device 26. The chimney can be tilted so as to rest against the bracket 55.
