Abstract
451,308. Glass manufacture. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., Magnet House, Kingsway, London, and PARTRIDGE, J. H., c /o General Electric Co., Ltd., Wembley, Middlesex. July 5, 1935, No. 19276. Addition to 426,129. [Class 56] An insulator for carrying open telegraph lines is composed of a glass substantially as claimed in the parent Specification. A glass which is particularly suitable is composed of 54À8 per cent of SiO2; 20À0 per cent of Al2O3; 16-5 per cent of CaO ; 7À0 per cent of B2O3; 0À5 per cent of BaO ; and 1À2 per cent of Na2O.
