Abstract
420,712. Sprayproducers. ARDEN, Ltd., E., 25, Old Bond Street, London.- (Assignees of Soc. Anon. des Etablissements E. Arden.) Oct. 11, 1933, No. 28059. Convention date, June 9. [Class 69 (iii)] An atomizer head for a liquid container having a passage 11, Fig. 1, in which screws a tube 14 from an air compressor, and terminating in a spray orifice 12 is provided with a stopper 29, Fig. 3, by which after removal of the air tube 14 the passage 11 and nozzle 12 may be closed thus permitting transport of the vessel without removal of the atomizer head 4. The stopper 29 screws into the passage 11 and carries a resilient plug 29 for closing the orifice 12 and also a resilient washer 33 which enters a recess 13 and closes an air vent 18 in the head 4. The head 4 comprises a body portion in which screws a tube 6 carrying a dip tube 7 and having at its upper end a restricted opening 9 communicating with the transverse passage 11.
